To reset a VANKYO projector, open its settings menu and choose the model’s factory-reset option—but the path varies by model. For example, VANKYO’s general FAQ lists Menu > Option > Restore Factory Default, while the Leisure 495W manual lists Homepage > Setting > System Setting > Restore Factory Default. Check your model number and follow its manual before confirming a reset.
Find the reset path for your projector model
Use the matching path below only if it corresponds to your projector. Menu labels differ between models and interface versions; a general FAQ path is not guaranteed to match your device. VANKYO’s manual directory lists guides for projector models including the V630, Leisure 3 and Leisure 3W.

Reset the projector, not just screen mirroring
On some models, the projector’s factory reset and the screen-mirroring module’s reset are separate menu actions. The Leisure 495W manual gives this path for the mirroring module: Homepage > Input Source > MULTISCREEN > Cast Settings > Restore Factory Default, then select Confirm. Use that option only when you intend to reset mirroring settings; it is not the same as the projector’s system reset. The Leisure 430W manual also describes a separate mirroring-module reset, though the cited information does not establish its complete path.

What to do if the remote does not work
A remote problem does not itself reset the projector. VANKYO’s FAQ advises checking that the batteries are installed correctly and have enough power. Replacing the remote’s AAA batteries may help if they are depleted. If your projector has usable onboard controls, you may be able to navigate its menu without the remote, but the available instructions do not give one control sequence that applies to every model. Before you confirm the reset
- Check the projector’s model number and select the corresponding manual, rather than assuming a menu path from another VANKYO model applies.
- Confirm that the highlighted option resets the projector itself if that is your goal. A screen-mirroring reset may affect only the mirroring module.
- Follow the on-screen confirmation prompt in the model’s instructions.
The cited instructions describe resetting through the projector menu; they do not establish a universal physical reset button or button-hold combination. If your model is not listed, consult its full manual for the exact option and sequence.
