To extract paginated search results with Browse AI, train a robot to perform the search, capture the repeated results with Capture Text → From a list, choose the fields and item count, and set pagination to match the page: Click next, Click load more, Scroll down, or No more items. Run the robot and check records from later pages for omissions or duplicates.
Train the robot to reach the search results
- Start training a robot from the relevant website origin. If results require a query, train it to focus the search field, enter the query, and submit it. Browse AI distinguishes this search-first workflow from navigating directly to a known results URL.
- Wait for the results page to finish updating before capturing anything. The Browse AI search guide recommends waiting for spinners to disappear, counts and filters to appear, and result elements to render.
- If the list is hidden until you click a toggle or a “show all” control, train that interaction first. For lazy-loaded results, demonstrate scrolling and allow time for new items to render.
Browse AI’s instructions for pagination apply to Capture Text → From a list; they do not describe pagination for “Just text” captures, screenshots, or individual detail pages. Browse AI Help Center

Capture the repeated results as a list
- In Robot Studio, choose Capture Text → From a list.
- Hover over repeated result cards or rows and select the list when the outline covers the intended results, rather than a larger page section or only one item.
- Give the list a descriptive name and review the recommended dataset. Browse AI says it structures the repeating information automatically; customize the fields if its selection does not match what you need.
- Choose how many items to capture and select the visible fields relevant to your task. Depending on the page, these might include a title, description, URL, price, or rating. A field can only be captured if the page exposes it in a way the robot can select.
- Save the list, finish and name the robot, then run it. Review and approve the captured data.
“From a list” is intended for repeated information such as search results and product listings. The exact controls and available data depend on the website and the current Robot Studio interface. Browse AI’s list-capture instructions

When list pagination is only part of the job
If each search result links to a detail page and you need information from those pages too, capturing the paginated list is not enough. Browse AI describes connecting robots in a workflow: one robot gathers list items or URLs, and another visits the detail pages. Train the workflow for the actual path, such as site search → results → detail page, and check that the URLs passed between steps are the ones you intend to process. Browse AI deep-scraping guidance
Check completeness and troubleshoot missing results
Compare the output with the expected result count where the site provides one, then inspect records from later pages as well as the first page. A successful run alone does not establish that every result was captured; the site’s structure and interaction behavior matter.

- Only the first page appears: Confirm the selected list is the repeated results, then check that the pagination setting matches the page’s Next control, load-more button, or scroll behavior. Browse AI suggests trying Click load more if only the first page was captured.
- Items that load dynamically are missing: Make sure the robot waits for the results to render. For scroll-triggered content, demonstrate scrolling and allow time for loading; Browse AI suggests trying scrolling when dynamic items are missing.
- The robot captures the wrong fields or a section instead of each result: Return to the list selection and check that the outline matches one repeated set of cards or rows. Use the manual selection or customization flow if the recommended structure is unsuitable.
- The run is too slow: Reduce the page or item limit, or split the work into batches. This is Browse AI’s operational guidance; no speed improvement is guaranteed.
- Records repeat: Inspect the output and deduplicate it in a spreadsheet if needed. Browse AI’s guide notes duplicates may occur.
- There are fewer records than expected: Check whether the site requires a search, filter, reveal click, or additional loading step before the list is complete. Verify the behavior by inspecting later-page records rather than assuming the robot exhausted the site.
