To export your Flo data, open the app and request a copy through the route currently shown on your account: Flo’s Help Center says to tap your avatar or Menu, choose Help, scroll to Contact us, and send a request; Flo’s privacy page describes Menu > My Data > Request My Data. After Flo sends the file, download it and store it somewhere you control, keeping its password separate and secure.
Request an export in the Flo app
Flo’s published instructions show two different menu paths. Menu labels can change, so follow the one visible in your installed app rather than assuming both are available.

- Open Flo and tap your avatar or Menu.

- If your app instead offers Menu > My Data > Request My Data, use that option. Flo’s privacy information describes this route: Flo Privacy Portal.
If neither route appears, contact Flo through its support channel in the app and ask how to request an export for your account.

Flo’s Help Center describes two file formats. A TXT file is plain text and is the more readable option for reviewing the contents yourself. A JSON file contains machine-readable digital values without graphical information; Flo says it may help transfer data to another app that supports importing it, but does not promise compatibility with every app.

Flo’s privacy page describes the export as a password-protected file containing logged health data, account information, and usage history. The Help Center’s description of TXT and JSON does not fully establish whether those formats and contents apply identically to every export request, so check the files Flo sends rather than assuming a particular layout.
Watch for two emails, then store both items securely
Flo says the data file and its password arrive in separate emails. Flo reports that, in almost all cases, delivery takes up to one month; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed deadline. Check your inbox and spam folder, and contact Flo support if the export does not arrive.

Once downloaded, keep the export and password protected. The file contains sensitive health and account information, and separating the password from the file reduces the chance that someone who gets one can open the other. You may keep a local copy on a USB drive if you choose, but Flo does not require or recommend a particular storage device, and a drive by itself does not make a backup safe. Protect the device and retain another copy only if you can secure it appropriately.

Flo warns that the files contain raw data and may not be useful for sharing with a doctor. Treat the export as a personal data copy, not a formatted medical report or a substitute for discussing relevant health information with a clinician.

Anonymous Mode accounts
Flo says it cannot send an export for an account in Anonymous Mode because support does not have identifying information to use for the request. Its instructions for exporting in Anonymous Mode say the user must disable Anonymous Mode, register an account, and then contact support: How do I export my data in Anonymous mode?
Do not change modes just as a routine backup step. Flo says switching creates a separate account, transfers certain data, and triggers deletion of the original account. Review Flo’s current guidance and understand those account and data consequences before proceeding.

How do I get a copy of my data from Flo?

Can I export Flo data while using Anonymous Mode?
