For recurring updates, connect the Browse AI robot directly to Google Sheets: open the robot, choose Integrate > Google Sheets, enable syncing, authorize Google, select a spreadsheet and sync scope, then run the task. For a one-time transfer, export a CSV or JSON file from Browse AI and import or process it separately.
Choose between automatic syncing and a one-time export

Set up recurring Browse AI syncing to Google Sheets
- From the Browse AI dashboard, select the robot whose results you want to send.
- Open the robot’s Integrate tab and choose Google Sheets.
- Select Enable Syncing to Google Sheet.
- Authorize the Google account that should connect to the spreadsheet. If you use an existing spreadsheet, that account must have Edit access.
- Choose an existing spreadsheet or create a new one.
- Choose which data to sync: changed or added data, only changed data, or only added data.
- Open the robot’s Overview tab and run the task. Check the spreadsheet for a new worksheet.
Browse AI’s help guide says that each task run or monitoring check appends newly captured data to the Google Sheet. If you connect another robot to a spreadsheet that is already integrated, that robot’s information appears on a fresh worksheet in the same spreadsheet.

Export a file for a one-time transfer
Set the table view before exporting
In Browse AI, configure the table view first. Filters, hidden columns, and your choice of latest versus historical data affect what is included. This matters when the download needs to match the visible subset rather than all available records.
Download CSV or JSON
- Click Export and choose CSV or JSON.
- For an export from the Main tab, CSV downloads a ZIP containing Main.csv and a separate CSV for each list tab. JSON produces one file containing all data.
- To export just one list tab, select that tab and export it as a single file.
Import CSV into Google Sheets
- In Google Sheets, choose File > Import and select the downloaded CSV file.
- Use automatic separator detection unless the file’s columns are not splitting correctly.
- Choose whether text should be converted to numbers or dates, based on how you plan to analyze the imported values.
CSV is the more direct option for spreadsheet analysis and reporting. Browse AI exports scraped values as strings, so a value such as $99.99 may remain text rather than becoming a numeric amount. Convert or parse such fields before relying on spreadsheet calculations.

When JSON is the better choice
Use JSON when downstream code needs nested relationships or metadata. A Main-tab JSON export can include nested list data and may be large, so it may be less convenient than CSV for a simple sheet import. Plan to parse string values into the types your processing or analysis requires.
Troubleshoot missing or empty spreadsheet data
- The spreadsheet looks empty: Check its worksheets; the robot may be writing to a different worksheet than the one currently open.
- The task ran before you connected Sheets: Enable the integration, then run the task again. A run completed before setup is not a substitute for a run after syncing has been enabled.
- The integration cannot use the existing destination: Confirm that the Google account you authorized has Edit access to that spreadsheet.
- Exported columns or rows are missing: Recheck table filters, hidden columns, and whether the export was set to latest or historical data; those view choices affect the file.
- Numbers or dates behave like text: Browse AI exports scraped values as strings. During CSV import, review the text-conversion choice, and parse or convert values that need numeric or date operations.
- You connected more than one robot: Look for each robot’s separate worksheet in the integrated spreadsheet.
Browse AI’s help guidance notes improved reliability for field mapping with autogenerated columns and duplicate field names, but does not provide a measured error rate. If field mapping still does not match your expectations, inspect the worksheet and column names produced by a fresh task run.
