Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteSwitchboard Live does not publish dollar prices on its current pricing page. Its public plans are described as monthly or annual, seat-based licenses, so the reliable way to estimate the subscription is to list the people and capabilities you need, then request a quote. The public summaries show unlimited multistreaming destinations; they do not support estimating the fee by multiplying a per-channel charge.
What determines a Switchboard Live estimate?
Switchboard describes its pricing as “monthly or annual seat based licenses.” The pricing page lists plan features but no dollar amounts, so the subscription total, taxes, discounts, and account-specific terms cannot be calculated from the public information. Switchboard’s pricing page is the place to check plan summaries, but ask the company for a current quote before budgeting.

For several YouTube channels, distinguish destinations from the workflows that send video to them. Switchboard says destinations are unlimited in its displayed plan summaries, and its help article says custom RTMP destinations do not carry extra fees. That means the public information does not identify each YouTube channel as a separate pricing unit. Still, confirm that the plan and account terms support your specific channel count and simultaneous workflow.

- Count the people who need access. The public plan summaries list two team members for SMB, three for Public Sector, and three or more for Enterprise. Ask Switchboard to confirm seat definitions, limits, and the price for the number of people who need access.
- Describe simultaneous inputs and workflows. The summaries list one RTMP input for SMB, one RTMP or SRT input for Public Sector, and three RTMP or SRT inputs for Enterprise. Switchboard’s FAQ says two or more encoder workflows can run at once, with a separate server URL and stream key for each workflow. State how many feeds you expect to send concurrently, which protocols you need, and ask the company to verify the plan limit.
- List destinations and channels. Switchboard lists unlimited multistreaming destinations in the displayed plans and YouTube as a native destination. Include the number of YouTube channels you intend to connect and stream to, but do not assume that number determines the price. Ask Switchboard to confirm the channel arrangement and any account-specific terms.
- Specify the schedule and usage pattern. Include the number of streams, their typical length, and how often you will run them. Switchboard recommends considering these factors when choosing a subscription; they help establish fit, not a public rate formula.
- Call out operational features. The public summaries list a 30-day archive for Public Sector; Enterprise lists 30+ day archives, 24/7 streams, phone support, and account hierarchy. Say which of these you require, and ask how they affect your quote.
- Ask for the contract details. Request the current monthly and annual prices for the same requirements, plus confirmation of included seats, concurrent inputs or workflows, support, archive retention, continuous streaming capability, and any other account terms relevant to your use.
A useful request is specific: “We need access for [number] people, [number] simultaneous feeds using [RTMP/SRT], streaming to [number] YouTube channels, on this schedule: [details]. We need [archive duration, 24/7 streaming, support, account hierarchy]. Please quote monthly and annual options and confirm the limits that apply.”

Does Switchboard charge per YouTube channel?
Its public materials do not describe a per-YouTube-channel fee. Switchboard states that multistreaming destinations are unlimited in the displayed plan summaries, and its help page says custom RTMP destinations do not add fees. YouTube is listed as a native destination. Treat this as a description of published plan information, not a guarantee about every negotiated account: give Switchboard your channel count and get the intended setup confirmed in writing.
What the 99-minute trial does—and does not—tell you
Switchboard’s trial page describes a trial of 99 broadcast minutes for Indie and Pro plans. This is a trial allowance, not a published post-trial price, subscription formula, or basis for extrapolating a cost per hour or channel. Use it to evaluate the service where applicable, then request a quote for the subscription features and usage you need.

Budget separately for the encoder and production equipment
Switchboard receives a feed from an encoder and sends it to destinations. The service’s setup guide describes a single feed going to multiple platforms, while its encoder guidance covers software, hardware, mobile, and cloud encoder categories. OBS is listed as free software. A paid hardware encoder is therefore not established as a mandatory subscription cost.
Keep any camera, microphone, capture card, encoder hardware, or network accessories in a separate production budget only if your existing setup lacks what you need. The public Switchboard materials do not establish that this equipment is required to estimate or buy its license.

Prepare each YouTube channel before connecting it
Switchboard’s YouTube setup guide says live streaming must be enabled on a channel before authorization, and activation can take up to 24 hours. Plan for that lead time before a scheduled broadcast. The guide also says multiple YouTube channels accessible through the same Google login can be connected and enabled in a stream group. Check access and permissions for every intended channel, then have Switchboard confirm the planned simultaneous arrangement.
How to compare Switchboard quotes fairly

Or let it run in the cloud
If what you need is an always-on YouTube stream built from uploaded videos, StreamNeo is a different option from a multistreaming service: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops the uploaded video from the cloud, so no computer or home connection has to stay on. It streams the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. This is for pre-recorded video streamed to YouTube, not a live camera feed or a replacement for sending one encoder feed to several channels. Start a StreamNeo free day.
