From the Fortnite lobby, open Locker, select the glider you want, then choose Back to equip it. To change the style of a glider you already selected, choose the item and select Edit.
Equip a different glider

Open Fortnite and go to the Matchmaking Lobby.

Open Locker from the top menu bar.

Select the glider you want to use.

Choose Back to leave the item selection and apply it. The button label or control may vary by platform; use the on-screen equivalent.

Equipping another glider and changing a glider’s style are different actions. To view the variations for your selected glider, choose it in Locker and select Edit in the bottom-right area. The available styles appear there, including styles included in a pack. You can select only styles available to your account; a locked or unavailable variation will not appear as an option.

Open Locker from a Changing Booth
Locker is available from the top menu bar of the Matchmaking Lobby. Epic also documents access to Locker through an in-game Changing Booth. Use the booth when you are already in an experience that provides one; otherwise, return to the lobby and open Locker there.
Why a glider may not equip
The glider may not match your outfit
Some gliders and other cosmetics are restricted to specific outfits for design or licensing reasons. If the combination is incompatible, try an outfit that works with the glider. Epic’s guidance does not offer a way to override these restrictions.

The experience may not support gliders
Cosmetic availability depends on the Fortnite experience. Epic’s compatibility guidance lists gliders as supported in Battle Royale and Developer-Made experiences, but not in the following experiences:

This is an experience-compatibility limitation, not necessarily a problem with your Locker selection.

An island’s age rating may limit cosmetics
Some outfits and accessories cannot be equipped in islands below certain age-rating thresholds. Epic says affected items are marked with an icon in Locker and the Item Shop. If you see that indicator, the island’s rating may be the reason the item is unavailable there.
The item may not be in your Locker
You can equip a glider only if it is available to your account. Fortnite content may be earned, purchased, or redeemed with credits. If you do not own the item, check the game’s current options for obtaining it; Item Shop availability can rotate or expire, so a particular glider may not be available at the moment. You do not need to buy anything to equip a glider you already own.

If you meant to use a variant, open Edit on the selected glider and check which styles are available to your account.

Try a compatible outfit and verify that the current experience supports gliders.

Look for an age-rating restriction icon if the item is unavailable on a particular island.
