Enter shop codes in the F-Zero Shop
- From the game’s menus, open Customize > F-Zero Shop.
- With the shop screen open, enter the sequence for the item you want. Use the D-pad for directional inputs; X, Y, and Z refer to the corresponding controller buttons.
- For Gold Parts, connect four controllers and enter the sequence simultaneously, as described in the recent reports.
Community players describe entering codes on the shop screen that lists Machines, Parts, and Items. Some report a confirmation jingle after a successful entry, but that is anecdotal rather than an official diagnostic rule. [Community discussion]

Newly reported AX, character, and Gold Parts codes
Nintendo Everything reported these sequences on October 10, 2026, attributing their discovery to community contributor BTEST4HE and tipster Paul Russell. The report says the three AX/Dark Schneider codes are entered in the F-Zero Shop. The same report says these inputs work in the original GameCube release and the Switch 2 Nintendo Classics version. Treat that as reported compatibility, not a Nintendo guarantee or an independently verified result across every revision, region, or emulator.

Older shop codes for course music
A longstanding user-contributed GameFAQs listing places these music codes in Customize > F-Zero Shop and specifies the D-pad for directional inputs. The code unlocks the sound option for purchase; to activate it, press Z while selecting a track in the matching course family. [GameFAQs F-Zero GX cheats]

Time Attack record inputs are not shop unlock codes
The GameFAQs listing also describes sequences entered at Time Attack > Records on Ruby, Emerald, or Sapphire Cup screens. These display passwords and information associated with former F-Zero online rankings; they are not general shop unlocks. The listing says the online rankings are no longer running, so use those sequences only for their stated record-screen purpose.

What an unlock does—and does not—do
The new sequences provide access to specific AX content and special parts; they are not described as one code that unlocks everything or equips parts automatically. In particular, Gold Parts become available to purchase after entry, so code entry and obtaining the parts are separate steps. The game’s manual describes the shop and customization workflow, while the established cheat listing also documents ordinary progression routes through cups and Story Mode chapters. If a code does not work
- Check the screen: Shop codes belong in Customize > F-Zero Shop. The separate ranking-password sequences use Time Attack > Records.
- Check directions and sequence: Use the D-pad for left and right, and compare each input in order.
- Check the controller setup: For Gold Parts, the reported method requires four controllers entering the inputs simultaneously. The available reports do not establish that one controller can substitute by repeating inputs.
- Look for a confirmation: Players have reported a jingle, but its absence is not an official failure indicator.
The 2026 report is secondary coverage, and community posts are anecdotal. No current official Nintendo page in the cited sources validates the new sequences, so compatibility claims should be read with that limitation in mind.
