Is FreeOffice free, and how does it differ from paid editions?
SoftMaker presents FreeOffice as free to download. SoftMaker Office Professional 2026 and NX Universal are separate paid products: the vendor describes Professional 2026 as a perpetual-license product and NX Universal as a subscription. Their terms and features should not be assumed to apply to FreeOffice. For the terms of the specific FreeOffice download, use its installer’s license agreement.
