Each has a different control. If you only want stickers out of the keyboard shortcut row, hide the shortcut instead; that does not delete the sticker set.
Identify the sticker you want to remove
Samsung uses different menus for different kinds of stickers, and labels change across devices and software versions. Samsung notes that available features and settings may vary by model and software version. Check the support instructions for your device if the labels below do not match what you see.

Delete My Emoji stickers on an older Samsung interface
Samsung Canada documents this route for the Galaxy S20 FE-era My Emoji workflow. It may not appear under the same labels on newer models.
- Open a messaging app and tap a text field to bring up Samsung Keyboard.
- Open the keyboard’s emoji controls.
- Tap the control at the bottom of the keyboard, then choose Manage sticker sets.
- Select the My Emoji sticker set and tap Delete.
If you do not see Manage sticker sets, your device may use the newer avatar workflow or a different software version; use the relevant route below rather than resetting keyboard data.

Delete AR Emoji stickers
The Galaxy Z Fold6 user manual documents this path for its AR Emoji interface:
- Open AR Zone.
- Tap AR Emoji Stickers.
- Tap More options, then Edit.
- Select the stickers you want to remove and tap Delete.
This is a model-specific documented route, not a guarantee that every Galaxy phone has the same AR Zone screens.

Find the newer Galaxy Avatar controls
Samsung says AR Emoji features were officially renamed Galaxy Avatar beginning with Galaxy S25 and compatible Galaxy phones and tablets running Android 15 with One UI 7.0 or higher. On supported devices, look for Galaxy Avatar or Avatar stickers rather than AR Emoji. Samsung’s support guidance also identifies Camera settings menus called Manage avatar or Manage emoji, where a supported device can delete, duplicate, or reorder an avatar/emoji and its stickers.
Open the Camera settings and look for the matching management option. The exact label and availability depend on the device and software version; if the menu is absent, consult Samsung’s instructions for your model rather than assuming the feature is available.

Hide sticker shortcuts without deleting stickers
If the goal is to clear a sticker category from the keyboard’s shortcut row, Samsung documents a separate control in Samsung Messages:
- Open Samsung Messages and a conversation.
- Tap the emoji icon beside the message field or in the keyboard.
- Swipe left and tap Settings.
- Switch off the shortcut category you no longer want displayed.
This removes the category from the shortcut display; it does not delete the underlying sticker set.

Stop sticker suggestions while typing
Samsung Keyboard has a Suggest stickers while typing setting. Turning it off reduces sticker suggestions as you type, but does not remove saved stickers. The keyboard toolbar can also be turned off in keyboard settings if the aim is to reduce what appears above the keys. These are display controls, separate from deleting a sticker set.

Samsung supports creating custom stickers from Gallery photos and using them through Samsung Keyboard. Its instructions explain creation, sharing, and editing or removing a sticker placed on a photo, but do not establish one universal route for deleting saved custom sticker assets across all Galaxy devices.

Check the sticker gallery in Samsung Keyboard or the current Gallery controls on your device for a delete option. Do not treat a Remove control for a sticker placed on a photo as proof that the saved sticker asset has been deleted.
If the menus do not match
- Confirm which app and keyboard are open; Samsung Keyboard controls may not appear when using another keyboard.
- Look for the device-era wording: older screens may say AR Emoji, while newer supported devices may say Galaxy Avatar.
- Distinguish deletion from hiding: shortcut controls and suggestion settings change what you see while typing, not the stored sticker set.
- Do not start by clearing keyboard cache or resetting keyboard data. Samsung documents those as keyboard maintenance controls, not as a method for deleting a selected sticker.
Samsung’s general support guidance warns that features and menu options vary by model and software version, so the exact path depends on the Galaxy device.
