Then open Streamlabs Dashboard → Merch Store → Storefront to adjust the product layout, header, banner, navigation, theme, background color, font, and font color. Streamlabs specifies a banner size of 1106 × 508 pixels. Streamlabs Support’s setup guide was last updated June 24, 2026.
Before you start
You need at least one product in your Merch Store before the storefront customization controls are available. If the Storefront tab does not offer the settings described below, add a product first.
- Sign in to the Streamlabs Dashboard.
- Choose Merch Store from the left navigation.
- Open the Storefront tab.
Streamlabs’ guide describes its store setup process as taking under five minutes. That is the company’s estimate, not a time guarantee; preparing product artwork and a banner can add time.
Customize the storefront
Choose a product layout
Select one of the listed layouts: clean, grid, or cards. Consider how many products you offer and how visitors will browse them. These are presentation choices; Streamlabs does not publish evidence that one layout produces more sales than another.

Set the header and navigation
Choose whether the header uses your Streamlabs avatar or text. You can also decide whether to show product categories and the Creator Sites navigation bar. Categories can help visitors browse a larger catalog; a simpler navigation may suit a smaller one.
Upload a banner
Prepare a banner at 1106 × 508 pixels, the size specified by Streamlabs, and upload it in the Storefront settings. The support guide does not state accepted file formats, maximum file size, or a safe area, so check the current uploader’s requirements rather than assuming them.
Choose a theme, background, and typography
You can select a theme that matches your Creator Site, use a premade theme, or choose a custom theme. The background-color control is available only when using a custom theme. Choose a font style and font color that remain legible against the selected background.

Check the storefront
Review the resulting storefront to make sure the banner, product presentation, header, and navigation make sense together. Streamlabs’ guide describes the settings in the Storefront tab but does not document a separate publish or preview sequence for storefront changes; follow the controls currently shown in your dashboard.
Keep storefront design separate from product design
Storefront settings control how shoppers browse the store; they are different from the tools used to create the merchandise itself. To make a product, select an item in Merch Store, upload artwork, use the editor guides to size and position it, preview the design, then finalize the product details and publish it.
Streamlabs describes product-editor features including a 3D preview, text and image templates, patterns, embroidery and stitch options, resize, reposition and rotate controls, and clearer print-safe boundaries. The support guide says existing designs do not receive the editor updates it describes, so creators need to make new designs to use those changes.

Product pricing and creator profit are set during product finalization. Streamlabs says profit is calculated after standard PayPal fees, but the storefront customization guide does not give a fixed fee rate. It also describes custom product images for Streamlabs Ultra subscribers and an additional discount on merch items; verify current plan terms in Streamlabs before relying on either benefit.

Customizing the storefront is separate from promoting it. Streamlabs describes merch purchase alerts that can trigger automatically on stream. Its discoverability guide covers promoting merch through a Twitch profile extension and merch commands. Streamlabs also has a YouTube merch shelf integration for eligible creators; eligibility depends on current YouTube rules, so check the platform’s current requirements before planning around it.

If a sale leads to a fulfillment issue, Streamlabs’ seller FAQ says custom apparel takes about 2–7 business days to produce and non-apparel products about 2–5 business days. It says claims for misprinted, damaged, defective, or undelivered products must be submitted within four weeks of receipt. These are seller-FAQ details, not storefront settings; confirm the current terms before quoting them to customers.
