In Streamlabs Desktop, open Settings > Get Support > Upload Diagnostic Report, wait for the upload to finish, then copy the generated code into the Diagnostic Report Code field on Streamlabs’ support form. Include a clear description of the problem; a screenshot is not a substitute for the requested code.

Add useful context to help support reproduce the issue: when it began, what action triggers it, the affected platform, and relevant app, operating-system, or system details. Include any additional information the form requests.

Do not paste a screenshot in place of the code. Streamlabs specifically requests the report code in that field. An issue-specific checklist may ask for more: for example, Streamlabs’ multistream troubleshooting guidance requests the issue location, when symptoms began, affected platforms, the diagnostic report, and a traceroute screenshot. If Desktop cannot generate the report
Use the cache-folder method only if the normal report cannot be generated. Streamlabs’ instructions say to locate the slobs-client folder, compress it if possible, upload it to a file-sharing service, and provide the link in the support request.

Follow the folder-navigation details in Streamlabs’ cache-folder instructions. If you share the folder through a link, set permissions so the intended support recipient can access it. A public or link-accessible share may be viewable by anyone who obtains the link; provide it only as directed in your support request and do not distribute it elsewhere.

Crash data is a separate workflow
A standard diagnostic report code and crash telemetry are not interchangeable. If support asks for additional crash data, follow the separate crash-reporting instructions: enable the additional reporting option, restart Desktop, and, after another crash, upload the additional information and give support the resulting filename. The crash guide was last updated April 25, 2025.
