To keep Tamil devotional videos playing continuously on YouTube, create a rights-cleared video loop and send it to YouTube as a live broadcast through an encoder. A YouTube viewing playlist alone does not create a 24/7 live stream. If by “schedule” you mean separate devotional programs at set times, schedule individual live events in YouTube Studio instead.
Choose between a continuous stream and scheduled events
A continuous broadcast plays an ongoing media feed, such as a rotation of devotional songs, bhajans, or recorded services. YouTube Studio’s scheduled live stream feature instead creates an upcoming event page for a broadcast that starts at a chosen time. YouTube says, “Scheduling a stream lets you promote your stream.” These solve different needs: use a continuous stream for a channel that should remain live, and separate scheduled events for services or programs with defined start times.

What you need before streaming
- A YouTube channel eligible to livestream: it must be verified and must not have live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube says streamers must be at least 16; first-time live-stream activation may take up to 24 hours. Check YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.
- Videos and audio you have permission to broadcast, including the song recordings, arrangements, images, and other visuals. Rights for a song do not automatically establish rights to a particular recording or video.
- An encoder that sends the media feed to YouTube using the stream URL and stream key. The encoder may be software on a computer, a hardware device, or a cloud service.
- A plan for monitoring and recovery if the encoder, power, or internet connection stops working. YouTube’s setup instructions do not guarantee 24/7 uptime for any particular configuration.
Set up a continuous 24/7 devotional broadcast
- Prepare the rotation. Assemble the recordings into a video or media playlist in the order you want them to play. Check the transitions, titles, and audio levels, and confirm that you have broadcast rights for every item. Keep an independent copy of any recording you need to preserve.
- Open YouTube Studio. Go to Create → Go Live, then create or select a stream. YouTube provides a stream URL and stream key for the encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
- Configure the encoder. Enter the YouTube stream URL and key, then select the prepared media as the encoder’s input and set it to repeat. Encoder setup varies by software or device; YouTube’s guidance does not specify one computer configuration for every channel. Follow the encoder’s instructions and YouTube’s current encoder setup guidance.
- Check the preview before going live. Confirm that the picture and sound are present and that the correct stream is selected. Start the broadcast from the encoder and verify that it appears live on YouTube.
- Keep watch and plan for interruption. Check the stream periodically and decide who will respond to an encoder, power, or connectivity failure. A continuous broadcast is not guaranteed merely because the media is set to loop. YouTube lists verified encoders, but says those products are not made by YouTube; verification is not a guarantee of reliability. Its encoder directory notes CamStreamer supports continuous 24/7 and scheduled live streams: YouTube’s verified encoder directory.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for looping uploaded videos as a 24/7 live stream. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay running at home; each slot streams your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, and StreamNeo can recover automatically if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. Learn more at StreamNeo, or start the free first day.

- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live → Manage → Schedule stream.
- Create a scheduled stream or reuse settings from a previous broadcast. Review the copied title, description, visibility, and other details rather than assuming they still fit the new event.
- When it is time to broadcast, connect your encoder, check the preview, and start the stream.
- Share the upcoming event URL and tell viewers the intended timetable. Scheduled streams can appear as upcoming in subscriber feeds, where viewers may select Notify me. See YouTube’s scheduling instructions and guidance for promoting scheduled streams.
For recurring services, publish a schedule that viewers can understand and sustain. Separate event pages make individual sessions easier to promote and distinguish from a continuous loop.

Protect the channel and plan the replay
Copyright and Content ID
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it identifies such material, a placeholder may replace the stream; continued use can lead to interruption or termination. A license by itself may not prevent an interruption: YouTube says the rights owner may need to add the channel to its Content ID allowlist. Confirm both the rights and any necessary allowlisting for devotional songs, recordings, arrangements, and visuals before broadcasting. See YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.
Keep an archive if the replay matters
YouTube automatically archives streams under 12 hours. A stream that exceeds 12 hours may not be captured at all, so do not rely on one uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast to produce a complete replay. If you need a full archive, keep a local recording or use another recording workflow and test that it captures the intended program. Check YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance.

Troubleshoot common problems
- The channel cannot go live: confirm verification and check for live-streaming restrictions in the prior 90 days. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours.
- YouTube does not receive the feed: check that the encoder has the correct stream URL and current stream key, and that it is sending the intended media input.
- The stream stops unexpectedly: check encoder status, power, and internet connectivity; restore the feed and verify the live preview. Build a monitoring and recovery routine rather than assuming a loop will restart itself.
- A placeholder appears or the stream is interrupted: review the content for third-party material, confirm broadcast rights, and ask the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting where necessary.
- The full-day replay is missing: a broadcast over 12 hours may not be archived. Preserve a separate recording when a complete copy is important.
