You can create a second YouTube channel from the Google Account you already use: open YouTube’s channel-creation settings, create a channel, and then switch to it from your profile menu. Choose a personal channel if it should use your Google Account’s identity and be managed only by you; choose a channel with a business or other name if you need a separate identity or shared management.
Before you create another channel
Decide whether the new channel should use your personal Google Account identity or have its own name and management arrangement. YouTube says one Google Account can manage up to 100 channels, and you can use only one channel at a time. YouTube Help: Switch between channels on a Google Account
- Personal channel: It uses your Google Account’s name and photo and can be managed only by its owner.
- Business or other name: It can use a different name and photo and can be managed by multiple Google Accounts through a Brand Account. This is often the better fit for a distinct brand or a team.

Create a second channel
On a computer or mobile browser
- Sign in to YouTube with the Google Account that should manage the new channel.
- Click your profile picture, open Settings, go to Account, and select Add or manage channel(s).
- Select Create a channel.
- Add a profile picture, enter the channel name and handle, then select Create channel.
For a separate business or other identity, use the channel list to create a channel with a business or other name. YouTube says this creates a new Brand Account. If you already manage the Brand Account you intend to use, select it. If it already has a channel, YouTube switches you to that channel rather than creating a second one under the same Brand Account. Follow the on-screen prompts and confirm the displayed identity before finishing. YouTube Help: Create a YouTube channel

Switch to the new channel
- On YouTube, click your profile picture.
- Choose Switch account.
- Select the channel you want to use.
Check the channel name and icon before you upload, comment, or change settings. If a channel you can access does not appear in the menu, try switching in YouTube Studio. For a Brand Account channel, check whether the Google Account you signed in with is listed as a manager. YouTube Help: Switch between channels on a Google Account
Choose access carefully for a Brand Account
A Brand Account allows more than one Google Account to manage the channel, but owner access is powerful: owners can take full actions, including deleting the channel and removing other owners. Give owner permissions only to people who need them and whom you trust. YouTube Help: Manage YouTube channels

Creating a channel is not the same as transferring one
You do not need to move your existing channel to create a second channel. A transfer is a separate process, and YouTube advises doing it only when necessary. Replacing a channel already attached to the destination Brand Account can permanently delete that destination channel’s videos, comments, messages, playlists, and history; other information, such as watch and search history, may also be lost. If you truly need a transfer, verify the source and destination accounts, ownership, and any replacement warning before continuing. If channel creation or switching does not work
- You cannot create a channel: YouTube notes that a supervised experience may prevent channel creation. Check whether supervision applies to the signed-in account. YouTube Help: Create a YouTube channel
- The new channel is missing from Switch account: Try YouTube Studio. If it is a Brand Account channel, confirm that your current Google Account is listed as a manager. YouTube Help: Switch between channels on a Google Account
- YouTube opens a channel you already manage instead of creating another: The Brand Account you selected may already have a channel. Choose a different account or create a new channel with a business or other name. YouTube Help: Create a YouTube channel
