That setup does not guarantee uninterrupted broadcasting, and it does not grant music rights. Before going live, clear every recording for live use and any archive, and decide how you will handle YouTube’s limits on long-stream archives and DVR.
Before you begin
Check YouTube live-stream eligibility
Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. YouTube supports encoder-based broadcasts such as OBS. Review YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance before setup, since eligibility can change.

Clear the Bhojpuri music rights
Confirm that you have permission for every recording you plan to play, for the territories where you expect to reach viewers, and for both live transmission and any archived replay. Music rights may involve separate sound-recording and composition rights, as well as artists, labels, publishers, and other participants. A consumer music subscription, purchased track, old recording, or Bhojpuri-language recording does not by itself establish permission to rebroadcast it.
If a rights holder has licensed the music, ask whether they must add your channel to their Content ID allowlist. YouTube warns that even a licensed live stream may be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted. Its live-stream copyright guidance explains that streams are scanned for third-party content and may receive a warning, show a placeholder, be interrupted, or be terminated. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions also require you to have the necessary rights for live and archived content. Rights depend on your specific catalog and agreements; if uncertain, get clarification from the rights holders or a qualified rights provider before broadcasting.

Set up OBS and YouTube Live
1. Configure OBS for your computer and connection

Install OBS Studio from the official OBS Project website and open it.

Run Tools > Auto-Configuration Wizard and use its result as a starting point. OBS performance depends on the encoder, resolution, frame rate, and scene complexity, so there is no single resolution or bitrate that is guaranteed to work for every computer and internet connection.

Choose an output quality your system and connection can sustain. OBS notes that meeting its system requirements does not guarantee the computer can stream or record successfully; its published system requirements page is dated August 25, 2021, and may be updated over time.

Create a scene for the broadcast and add the video or artwork and audio sources you intend to use. Check that the audio is clear and not clipping, and confirm that any visual material is also cleared for use.
2. Create or select the YouTube stream

In YouTube Studio, open Create > Go live, then create a stream or select the one you plan to use. The exact presentation can vary with the current Studio interface; follow the encoder setup shown for that stream.

Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube’s stream settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone who gets it may be able to broadcast to your channel. Do not publish it or include it in screenshots.

In OBS, open Settings > Stream, select YouTube as the service, and enter the stream URL and key using the available connection fields. YouTube’s instructions for creating a live stream with an encoder cover the stream connection and launch flow.

3. Test the full playback chain
Before scheduling a public broadcast, test the complete path: the playlist or audio source, visual scene, audio levels, transitions, OBS connection, and the procedure you will use to restart after a failure. This is an operational precaution, not a guarantee of future uptime. For a scheduled stream, check the preview in YouTube Live Control Room and select Go live if the workflow requires it; starting the encoder in OBS does not always complete the scheduled launch by itself.
Plan for continuous operation
OBS runs on your computer, so a 24/7 broadcast depends on the computer, OBS, power, and internet connection remaining available. Plan who will monitor it and how you will respond to a computer restart, OBS crash, power interruption, lost connection, or YouTube interruption. A UPS for the computer and router may help with some brief power cuts, but it cannot prevent internet, software, or platform failures.

Do not assume that one long broadcast will provide a complete replay. YouTube says a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all, and DVR rewind can be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours. See YouTube’s archive guidance and DVR guidance. YouTube recommends keeping a local recording backup. If complete archives or rewind matter, compare one continuous stream with shorter scheduled sessions: shorter sessions require more scheduling and restart work, but may better fit your replay needs. The platform does not prescribe one format.

You cannot start a live stream: Check that channel verification is complete and that there has been no live-stream restriction in the past 90 days. Review the account’s current eligibility notices in YouTube Studio.

OBS connects, but viewers do not see the scheduled stream: Open YouTube Live Control Room, check the preview, and use its Go live control when the scheduled workflow calls for it.

The stream is unstable or OBS struggles: Revisit the Auto-Configuration Wizard and reduce the workload by adjusting output quality or scene complexity. The appropriate settings depend on the specific computer, encoder, frame rate, and connection; compatibility alone is not a performance guarantee.

YouTube warns about or interrupts the music: A Content ID match can trigger action even when you believe the music is licensed. Confirm that the license covers live use in the relevant territories and ask the rights holder whether your channel needs to be allowlisted. Do not simply restart with the same uncleared track.

The replay is missing or viewers cannot rewind far enough: Streams over 12 hours may not be archived, and DVR availability can be limited. Keep a local recording backup and choose a shorter-session schedule if dependable replays are important.

The stream stops during a power, computer, or network problem: Restore the failed component, reconnect OBS, and follow the scheduled stream’s Live Control Room launch steps if needed. A UPS can address only some power interruptions; it does not restore a broken internet link or repair a software or platform issue.
