Which pumpkin-based meals count?
The current guide identifies four dishes that require Pumpkin as a named ingredient. This is a task-specific list, not a permanent or exhaustive catalog of every recipe involving Pumpkin.

Choose one of the four named recipes above and gather every ingredient shown for it. The available sources do not establish a complete current route for obtaining each ingredient.

Go to a cooking station and add the recipe’s ingredients. For Pumpkin Soup, include Pumpkin as well as a vegetable for the flexible “any Vegetable” slot.

Why Pumpkin Soup’s vegetable slot may not be enough
Pumpkin Soup has both a specific Pumpkin requirement and a separate slot that accepts any Vegetable. For the cited duty, the guide cautions that a recipe allowing any vegetable does not qualify unless Pumpkin is specifically required by that recipe. Use Pumpkin Soup as named, rather than relying on a Pumpkin placed only in a flexible vegetable slot in some other recipe. This qualification is for the cited duty; it does not establish a universal rule for other tasks.

Pumpkin Puffs details
Pumpkin Puffs are a three-star appetizer prepared at a cooking station from Pumpkin, Egg, and Cheese. The Dreamlight Valley Wiki recipe entry reports a sale value of 1,489 or more and energy restoration of 1,466 or more. Those figures may vary with game conditions or updates, so they are not guaranteed values for every player.
