On a computer, open your presentation and choose File > Download, then select a file type. To make a PDF in a browser, you can also choose File > Print; Google says the PDF downloads automatically. On mobile, available exports differ: Android lists presentation exports and current-slide image exports, while iPhone and iPad list PDF and PowerPoint.
How to download a Google Slides presentation on a computer
- Open the presentation in Google Slides.
- Select File > Download.
- Choose the file type you need from the menu. Google describes this as downloading a copy of the presentation. Google’s computer file-download instructions do not provide an exhaustive list of presentation formats, so check the menu in your own account for the options currently available.
How do I save a Google Slides presentation as a PDF?
Use either the download menu, if PDF is listed, or Google’s documented print route:

- Open the presentation in a browser.
- Select File > Print.
- Continue through the browser’s print dialog. Google says a PDF file automatically downloads for a presentation printed from a browser. See Google’s instructions for printing a file.
Can I convert Google Slides to PowerPoint?
Yes. On a computer, select File > Download and choose the PowerPoint format if it appears in the menu. Google lists PPTX as an export option in its mobile instructions for both Android and iPhone or iPad. On Android, follow Google’s Google Slides instructions for Android; on iPhone or iPad, see its Google Slides instructions for iPhone and iPad.
How do I save one Google slide as a PNG or JPEG?
Google’s documented mobile image-export option is on Android and applies to the current slide, not the entire presentation as a bundle of images.

- Open the presentation in the Google Slides Android app and display the slide you want.
- Use the app’s export option for the current slide and choose JPEG, PNG, or SVG.
Google’s Android help lists those image formats for the current slide. Its cited iPhone and iPad instructions list PDF and PPTX, not image export. The computer download help page cited here does not establish an image-export option; check the format choices shown in your own desktop menu rather than assuming it offers one.
