To pair Soundcore earbuds, put them in Bluetooth pairing mode, then open Bluetooth settings on your phone, tablet, or computer and select the exact Soundcore model name. Many models enter pairing mode when removed from the case; others require a model-specific control. If they do not appear or reconnect, check charging and seating, remove the old Bluetooth record, refresh Bluetooth, and follow the reset instructions for your exact model.
Pair Soundcore earbuds for the first time
- Check power and contacts. Charge the earbuds and case enough to power the earbuds. If the set is new, remove any protective film covering the earbud charging contacts.
- Put the earbuds in pairing mode. Some models enter pairing mode when you take them out of the case. If yours does not, use its model-specific manual procedure. For R50i, P20i, and P25i, Soundcore says to remove the earbuds from the case, then tap and hold both touchpads for three seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode: Soundcore R50i/P20i/P25i guide.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the host. Turn Bluetooth on for your phone, tablet, or computer, then wait for the earbuds to appear. Menu names vary by operating system, so use the Bluetooth settings on your device rather than looking for one universal path.
- Select the exact model name. Tap or click the Soundcore entry shown in the available-device list and accept a pairing confirmation if prompted. For example, Soundcore’s Life A3i instructions say to search for “soundcore Life A3i” and pair: Life A3i support.
- Check the connection. Confirm that the earbuds show as connected in the host’s Bluetooth settings, then play audio.
If the earbuds do not appear or reconnect
Check the case and charging contacts
Put both earbuds back in the case and check that they are seated and charging, then try opening the case again. A bud that is not making contact may not charge or reset properly. Soundcore includes seating and charging checks in model-specific troubleshooting, including its Life P3 support instructions.

Clear the old Bluetooth connection
- In the host device’s Bluetooth settings, forget or remove the saved Soundcore entry.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on again. If the earbuds still do not appear, restart the phone or computer.
- Put the earbuds into pairing mode again and select their model name from the available devices.
Soundcore recommends removing old pairing records and refreshing Bluetooth in its Life A3i and Life A1 troubleshooting.
Reset only by following your model’s instructions
Do not assume all Soundcore earbuds reset with the same button, hold time, or light pattern. For example, Life P3 documentation specifies holding the case button for 10 seconds and watching for a particular three-LED sequence; R50i/P20i/P25i documentation describes a touchpad reset method instead. Use the reset steps for your exact model in its support guide or quick start guide.

Test with another device
If pairing still fails, try connecting the earbuds to a second phone or tablet. If they pair there, the issue may be with the original host’s Bluetooth settings or saved connection; if they do not, consult support for the earbud model. Soundcore recommends a second-device check in its Life A1 troubleshooting.
Connect Soundcore earbuds to a different device
If your earbuds connect to an earlier device, that connection may interfere with pairing to another host. Turn Bluetooth off on the earlier device, or use the earbuds’ documented method to enter pairing mode for a new connection. Available dual-connection and multipoint controls vary by model: the Liberty 4 NC FAQ explains that model’s process for connecting another device, but its steps should not be assumed to work on other Soundcore earbuds.

Why the instructions differ by model
Pairing mode and reset controls are not uniform across the Soundcore range. Identify the exact model name printed on your earbuds, case, or Bluetooth device list before following button or LED instructions. For instance, R50i/P20i/P25i use a three-second hold on both touchpads to enter manual pairing mode, while the Life P3 reset procedure uses a case button and a model-specific LED sequence. The Liberty 4 NC FAQ also documents its own controls for adding another device.
