To connect Google Ads to a Hostinger AI Builder site in manual mode, copy your Google Ads tag ID—the ID Hostinger identifies for Ads begins with AW-—then add it under More → Integrations → Google Tag. Save the change and publish the site. Hostinger also advises enabling a cookie banner for conversion tracking.
Before you start
Hostinger’s documented steps apply to AI Builder’s manual mode. You need an active Google Ads account, at least one campaign, and the tag ID for your Google Ads account. Hostinger’s guide was updated shortly before its current crawl; menu labels in both products can change.
Hostinger directs users to find the Ads ID in Google Ads under Tools → Data Manager, or under Google Tag in Setup. For the Google Ads lookup, copy the ID beginning with AW-. Hostinger also lists G- and GT- as supported Google Tag formats, but those are not the Ads ID specified in its Google Ads instructions. See Hostinger’s Google Ads setup guide.

Select More → Integrations.

Find Google Tag, paste the Google Ads ID beginning with
AW-, and click Save changes. -

Hostinger advises enabling a cookie banner for conversion tracking. Follow the builder’s available cookie-banner settings if you want to use one.
Google Tag and Google Tag Manager use different fields
Hostinger offers separate integrations for Google Tag and Google Tag Manager. Use the Google Tag field for the Ads tag connection above. If you deploy tags through Google Tag Manager instead, use Hostinger’s dedicated Google Tag Manager integration and its container ID, which begins with GTM-; do not paste that container ID into the Google Tag field. What this connection can—and cannot—track by itself
Adding the tag connects the site to Google’s tagging setup, but the right conversion method depends on the action you need to measure. Google Ads says URL-based setup is suitable for simple page-load conversions, such as a visit to a confirmation page. For a button click, dynamic values such as a purchase amount, or transaction IDs, Google’s guidance calls for a code-based conversion setup. See Google Ads’ conversion tracking setup guidance.

Also check whether a Google tag is already installed before adding another through a third-party CMS or site-builder integration. Google cautions that duplicate tagging can cause duplicate conversion reporting. Adding the Hostinger integration is not, on its own, confirmation that a chosen conversion action is configured correctly; verify the setup in Google Ads for the conversion you intend to measure.
