On Apple TV 4K, the Wi-Fi list is under Settings > Network > Wi-Fi. If the Apple TV is connected to Ethernet, unplug the cable first: a wired connection can hide the Wi-Fi option.

Choose your wireless network from the list.

Enter the Wi-Fi password if asked, then follow the onscreen instructions.

Apple TV models vary: some have an Ethernet port and some do not. Apple says Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) Wi-Fi does not have Ethernet. For setup details, see Apple’s Apple TV 4K network settings guide.
Switch to another Wi-Fi network
Open Settings > Network > Wi-Fi and select the new network. If you are moving from Ethernet to wireless, you do not need to set up Apple TV again; disconnect the cable and choose Wi-Fi.
Connect to hotel Wi-Fi or another network with a sign-in page
Some hotel and institutional networks require a browser-style login after you join. If Apple TV displays the option, choose Continue on iPhone or iPad and complete the sign-in steps on that device. Apple advises updating Apple TV to the latest software if needed. Some network sessions expire, so you may need to reconnect and sign in again. Fix common Apple TV Wi-Fi problems
Wi-Fi does not appear in Network settings
If your model has Ethernet and it is connected, unplug the cable. Apple TV uses Ethernet automatically while connected, which can make the Wi-Fi option unavailable. Wait briefly, then return to Network settings.
The password is rejected or Apple TV will not join
In Network settings, select the current network and choose Forget Network. Then select it again and carefully re-enter the password.
Your network is missing or the connection is unstable

Check that the router and modem are powered on and connected.

If possible, place Apple TV and the router in the same room. Reduce obstructions, especially metal, and do not place Apple TV directly on the router or within 30 cm of it.

Restart Apple TV and your network equipment

On Apple TV, go to Settings > System > Restart.

Unplug the router and cable or DSL modem from power, then reconnect them.

Try joining Wi-Fi again after the equipment restarts.

Use Ethernet to isolate a wireless issue
If your Apple TV has an Ethernet port, connect it directly to the router or modem and check whether the network works. While connected, check for Apple TV software updates. Then unplug Ethernet and try Wi-Fi again. Ethernet is optional; it is not required for wireless setup.
The Home app reports “Network Issue” or “No Internet”
Restart Apple TV and your network equipment. If the equipment does not show an internet connection, check with your internet service provider for an outage. Also verify that Apple TV and the active home hub are connected to the same network. If network configuration is the issue, contact your provider or network administrator. Wi-Fi avoids a cable and is the usual choice for a wireless setup. Ethernet requires a model with a port and a cable, but can be useful for wired service or for checking whether a problem is limited to Wi-Fi. Apple TV automatically prefers Ethernet when a cable is connected.
