These are separate connections; the phone does not pair directly to the car stereo for the microphone’s live audio.
Before you connect: identify the microphone model
BONAOK connection options vary by model. The G50 manual documents FM transmission for car karaoke; the G20 manual describes FM and an AUX output. Check the model label and its manual, along with the ports on your car stereo, before choosing a method. The manual listings reviewed may not cover every product variant or the latest documentation for your particular unit.

Connect a BONAOK G50 to your car with FM
- Park safely before handling the phone, microphone, or car stereo. Power on the microphone.
- Select FM on the microphone. The G50 manual lists 87.5, 88.5, 89.5, and 90.5 MHz.
- Set the car radio to the same frequency. The radio and microphone must match.
- Pair the phone to the microphone over Bluetooth and play the music. In this setup, Bluetooth carries music from phone to mic; FM carries audio from the microphone to the car radio.
- If the mic’s built-in speaker is also playing, long-press the volume key to turn it off, as the G50 manual recommends for car karaoke.
Reception can vary with local radio traffic and vehicle conditions. If a station interferes with the selected frequency, try another of the four listed in the G50 manual; it does not specify which frequency will be clear in a particular location. The G20 manual describes two ways to send microphone audio to a car stereo. Choose the route supported by your exact microphone and vehicle:

Confirm the port labels and follow the manual for your specific unit; do not assume the G20’s AUX instructions apply to the G50 or another BONAOK model. The two G20 manual listings describe FM and AUX, and one identifies model BT062AB: G20/BT062AB manual listing and BONAOK manual listings.
Choose FM or AUX
- Use FM when the specific mic supports it and you can find a sufficiently clear frequency that the car radio can tune.
- Use AUX when both devices have compatible AUX ports and the mic’s manual supports that connection. A wired route avoids the need to find a clear matching FM frequency.
Troubleshoot connection problems
No sound over FM
Check that FM is enabled on the microphone and that its selected frequency exactly matches the car radio. This is the G50 manual’s stated check for noise or no sound. FCC-hosted G50 manual.

FM sounds noisy
A local station may be using the same frequency. Try another frequency supported by your exact model; for the G50, the manual lists 87.5, 88.5, 89.5, and 90.5 MHz. Availability depends on location, so the manual cannot identify a universally best choice.
Phone music does not play
For the G50 procedure, check that the phone is paired over Bluetooth to the microphone and that music is playing from the phone. This Bluetooth link is phone-to-mic, distinct from the FM link to the car radio.

AUX produces no sound
Verify that the microphone has an AUX output, the vehicle stereo has an AUX input, the cable connects those ports, and the stereo’s selected source is AUX. This path is documented for the G20; other models may differ.
