The project says macOS support uses Vulkan through MoltenVK and runs as x86-64 under Rosetta 2 on Apple Silicon; it labels macOS support experimental. - Open the input or controller area provided by your installed build. Menu names and available controls can differ; consult that build’s help if you cannot find the relevant panel.
- Use an available input test or a game menu to check each binding before starting gameplay. If the emulator offers remapping, change only the necessary bindings and test them again.
- If the controller is not detected, reconnect it and check the operating system’s device list. Then consult the exact build’s documentation for its supported input path; do not infer support from another emulator’s controller guide.
Linux gamepad hotplug note for KytyPS5
KytyPS5’s Linux build instructions mention SDL3 dependencies and warn that without relevant audio, Wayland, and udev development packages, SDL3 can configure without working gamepad hotplug. This is a build-specific dependency note, not confirmation that every controller model works or a consumer setup guide. Do not rely on unsupported setting guides or downloads
RPCS5.com publishes graphics and controller guides describing options such as APIs, resolution scaling, shader compilation, frame caps, ray tracing, controller mappings, haptics, gyro, and dead zones. Those are claims from that site and are not verified instructions for KytyPS5 or RPCSX. Its listed Windows download includes the SHA-256 value e3b0c44298fc1c149afbf4c8996fb92427ae41e4649b934ca495991b7852b855, the standard digest for empty input.
