What to bring and where to start
Take an in-game camera into Pendola Pass. The first required objective is to photograph the Emperor’s leg near Old Town. A GamesRecon guide places the leg near the bridge outside Old Town and recommends adjusting your position until the photo objective registers. The GamesRadar+ walkthrough also shows a working camera angle, but does not give readable coordinates. Use the bridge and the leg as landmarks rather than relying on a specific coordinate.

Complete the optional Probe objective before analysis
If you want to complete the optional Probe objective, look for the Probe after taking the photograph and before analyzing the exposed area of the leg. GamesRadar+ reports that advancing to the analysis objective closes the Probe objective. Its guide does not establish the Probe’s exact location, so there is no verified position to follow from these walkthroughs.
Analyze the exposed area near Railroad Junction
Travel to the Emperor’s leg near Railroad Junction and climb onto its plating until the analysis interaction prompt appears. The guides place the interaction on the leg near the section where it touches down; neither provides a text-readable coordinate. Use the prompt to analyze the exposed area.

Find the buried payload at the Emperor’s base
After the analysis, proceed to the base of the Emperor’s leg. Search the half-buried, elongated box among the snow and wreckage to obtain the ARC Conductive Coupler.
Extract and return the Coupler to Celeste
With the Coupler in your inventory, extract from the raid and deliver it to Celeste. Reaching the payload is not the final step: the quest requires returning the item.

GamesRadar+ lists the rewards as three adrenaline shots, an Exodus Technical Handbook, a Bettina assault rifle, 60 heavy ammo, and 5,000 XP. These are rewards reported by a secondary guide, not independently confirmed by official quest documentation here. Quest interactions or rewards may change in later ARC Raiders updates.
