First decide what “looping” means: to repeat a video while you watch it, use YouTube’s free Loop control; to repeat a video in an embedded player, use YouTube’s embed parameters. A cloud service is for a different job: broadcasting a prerecorded meditation video or playlist continuously as a YouTube Live stream, without leaving your own computer running.
Choose the workflow before comparing services
Repeat a video while watching
On a computer, right-click the YouTube player and select Loop. YouTube also provides playlist repeat. On a TV or gaming console, use the Repeat option in playback controls or settings. These playback controls repeat content for the person watching; they do not create a public livestream. YouTube’s playback instructions cover computer, mobile, TV, and console controls.

Repeat a video on a website
An embedded single video can repeat with YouTube’s loop=1 parameter, paired with the same video ID in the playlist parameter. The documented URL pattern is https://www.youtube.com/embed/VIDEO_ID?playlist=VIDEO_ID&loop=1. This controls an embedded player, not a continuous YouTube Live broadcast. See the YouTube embedded player parameters.

Run a prerecorded video as a continuous livestream
If viewers should find the meditation as a live broadcast on your channel, you need a streaming workflow that accepts uploaded media or a playlist and sends it to YouTube Live. A cloud service can run that workload remotely, so your computer and local internet connection do not have to remain active. Do not assume that every “cloud encoder” or simulcasting tool can play uploaded files: some services only relay a live input from an encoder.

What to compare in a cloud looping service
Compare whether a service actually solves prerecorded looping, then check its operating limits and responsibilities. YouTube’s guidance on streaming across platforms explains stream keys, RTMP server URLs, channel readiness, and cloud encoders that distribute a live input. That general cloud-encoder workflow does not establish that every encoder can loop an uploaded file.
| Decision point | What to verify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Source media | Can you upload a video or audio file and repeat it, or arrange multiple files in a playlist? | A relay-only service may require a live encoder input and cannot perform the prerecorded loop you need. |
| YouTube connection | Does setup require YouTube’s RTMP server URL and stream key, or another documented connection method? How is the key stored and managed? | The connection method determines setup and how access to your channel’s stream is handled. YouTube’s setup guidance describes stream keys and RTMP URLs. |
| Local equipment | After setup, must a computer, browser, OBS, or local upload connection stay on? | A cloud worker can avoid making your home computer and connection part of the ongoing broadcast. |
| Limits and cost | Check simultaneous streams, included streaming hours, storage, trial limits, and the price and billing terms after any trial. | A trial can have both a calendar limit and a usage cap; compare the actual allowance with your expected schedule. |
| Recovery | What errors can trigger an automatic retry, and what requires you to intervene? | Temporary network problems may be recoverable, but a service cannot promise that every outage, invalid key, or bad source file will be fixed automatically. |
| Media rights and YouTube rules | Do you own the video and audio or have permission to broadcast them? Who is responsible for complying with YouTube policies? | Hosting and looping tools do not grant rights to music, recordings, artwork, or other material in your meditation program. |

Looping Stream
Looping Stream’s provider page describes uploading video or audio, arranging one or more files in a playlist, adding a YouTube RTMP destination and stream key, then running the broadcast on cloud workers. It says the computer is needed to configure files and settings, but need not remain on after setup. The page lists meditation and relaxation programming as possible uses, provided you own or are authorized to use the media.

The provider describes a new-user trial of seven days from first sign-in, 24 total streaming hours, 1 GB of storage, and one simultaneous stream, with no card required. The trial ends when either seven days or the 24-hour allowance expires. These are provider-stated terms and can change; confirm them on the provider’s page before relying on them. The provider also says media optimization is included and compatible RTMP destinations may be supported. Its page notes that interruptions remain possible; it does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.

Set up the YouTube side and protect your stream
- Check channel readiness. YouTube says the channel must be verified and live streaming enabled. First-time enablement may take at least 24 hours after you request it, so do not plan a same-day launch if the feature is not already active.
- Create the live stream in YouTube Studio. Follow YouTube’s current streaming setup to obtain the stream key and RTMP server URL when required. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your broadcast.
- Prepare the media and playlist. Confirm the audio and video play correctly, and set the order and repeat behavior in the chosen service. A playlist can provide variety; a single-file loop may better suit a continuous, consistent meditation session.
- Connect the service. Enter the YouTube destination and stream key in the service’s documented setup, then start the broadcast. Check that the correct channel, stream, and visibility settings are selected before announcing it.
- Monitor stream health and playback. Verify that the live preview or watch page has both picture and sound. YouTube advises sufficient upload speed and monitoring stream health; cloud hosting removes your home connection from the ongoing path, but the platform connection and media still need to work.
- Review rights and policy before going public. Use recordings, music, artwork, and other assets you created or have permission to broadcast. A meditation label or public-domain claim alone does not prove that every recording or arrangement is cleared. You remain responsible for meeting YouTube’s rules and handling rights claims.
Common problems and practical checks
- The service only offers relay or simulcast: look for explicit support for uploaded files or playlists and repeat behavior. A service that distributes a live encoder feed is not necessarily a file-looping service.
- YouTube does not accept the stream: confirm live streaming is enabled, the correct RTMP destination and current stream key are used, and the stream is started for the intended broadcast. If the channel has just requested live access, activation may take at least 24 hours.
- The stream stops and does not recover: check whether the cause is a temporary connection fault, invalidated or incorrect key, service outage, or damaged/incompatible source media. Automatic recovery may help with temporary drops, but it cannot guarantee recovery from every cause.
- There is no sound or the wrong item plays: preview the uploaded file and playlist, check their order and audio, and verify the selected source. If the problem persists, test a known-good file and consult the service’s format and media guidance.
- The trial runs out sooner than expected: compare both calendar duration and streaming-hour allowance, and note how simultaneous-stream limits apply. Confirm the provider’s current terms rather than budgeting from an old offer.
- A rights claim appears: pause or replace the disputed material and resolve the claim through YouTube’s process. A cloud provider’s ability to play a file is not authorization to broadcast it.
