The result is one ring carrying both rings’ effects, freeing an equipment slot—but you cannot combine that result with a third ring.
What you need to combine rings
- Two different rings. The Forge will not combine two copies of the same ring.
- 20 Cinder Shards, the in-game cost for combining a pair.
- Access to the Forge or a crafted Mini-Forge. The Forge is on floor 10 of the Volcano Dungeon; the Mini-Forge becomes available after you obtain Combat Mastery. The Mini-Forge works the same way for this task.

How to combine two rings
- Reach the Forge on floor 10 of the Volcano Dungeon, or use a crafted Mini-Forge after obtaining Combat Mastery.
- Put the two rings you want to combine into the Forge.
- Spend 20 Cinder Shards to complete the combination. You receive one ring with both original effects.

Important combination limits
- The rings must be different. Two copies of the same ring cannot be combined. Different rings that share an effect can be combined; the Wiki gives Glow Ring and Glowstone Ring as an example.
- A combined ring cannot be combined again. You cannot put a third ring’s effect into a previously combined ring.
- You can undo the combination. Unforging is free and returns the two original rings, but the Forge returns only some of the Cinder Shards spent—not the full 20.
Choosing which rings to combine
Rings provide passive benefits, and you can equip two at a time. Combining a pair puts both effects into one ring, leaving the other ring slot available for another effect. Some ring effects stack, but no single pairing is best for every player; weigh the effects against the activities and benefits you value.
