Which Pixel Watch 5 case size fits your wrist?
Google lists two standard case sizes: 41 mm and 45 mm. Its current US Google Store FAQ gives these overall wrist-fit ranges:

Measure before choosing
- Measure around your wrist where you plan to wear the watch, in millimeters.
- Compare that measurement with the range for the exact model you’re considering.
- Use the fit range to narrow the options, then choose based on your preferred case and display size.
Google’s configurator prompts shoppers to size up their wrist, but its official guidance does not establish a universal formula that selects a case size from wrist circumference alone. A measurement within a listed range is a useful fit check, not a guarantee of personal comfort or appearance.

Choose by the look and feel you prefer
Google describes the 45 mm as the choice for someone who prefers a larger display and case. It describes the 41 mm as smaller and slightly lighter. The listed watch weights without bands are 31.0 g for 41 mm and 36.7 g for 45 mm; the larger model’s display and case may suit you better if you prefer a more prominent watch, while the smaller case may be your preference if you want a less substantial option.

The ranges overlap: a wrist measurement of 165–175 mm falls within both supplied 41 mm pieces, while 165–185 mm falls within both supplied 45 mm pieces. If your measurement is in an overlap, try both pieces and judge the fit on your wrist rather than assuming one is automatically right. Consider another band if you want a different material, look, or adjustment style. Google lists styles including Gradient Stretch, Performance Loop, Active Sport, Woven, Active, Metal Mesh, Crafted Leather, Metal Links, Metal Slim, and Two-Tone Leather. Match the band to how you will use it
- For workouts: Google calls Performance Loop workout-friendly and micro-adjustable.
- For a metal look: Metal Links is stainless steel and comes with a sizing tool and extra links, but Google says it is not sweat or water resistant.
- For leather: Crafted Leather is Italian leather with separate small and large options for each case size; Google says it is not sweat or water resistant.
- For any other style: Check the individual product page for its case compatibility, fit range, materials, adjustment method, and care guidance. Do not assume its sizing matches the supplied Active Band.

- Start with your wrist measurement. Compare it with Google’s range for the exact case or Special Edition.
- Choose the case by preference. Pick 45 mm for the larger case and display, or 41 mm for the smaller, slightly lighter case, provided the model’s stated fit range works for you.
- Try both included Active Band pieces when ranges overlap. Both sizes are included with the standard watch.
- Buy a separate band only for a specific preference. Check its own fit range and confirm that it is made for your watch’s case size.
