If you want a PS5-compatible controller with Hall effect sticks, compare the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro and the modular Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded. The right choice depends on more than the stick sensors: check PS5 feature support, layout, modules, connection requirements, and the exact product version. Hall effect sensing is intended to reduce drift risk; it is not a guarantee against future input problems.
What Hall effect sticks do—and what they do not promise
Hall effect sticks use magnetic sensing to detect stick movement. That design is intended to reduce the risk of the wear-related drift associated with some conventional stick mechanisms. It does not establish that a controller can never develop drift or another input fault. The available product information does not establish long-term comparative failure rates, so do not treat the sensor type as a lifetime reliability guarantee.

Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesChoose by layout, controls, and connection
Once you have confirmed that the precise model works with your PS5, compare how it fits your hands and play style. A controller with Hall effect sticks can still be the wrong choice if its layout or supported features do not suit you.

- Wireless setup: Check whether wireless play requires a dedicated dongle and how the controller connects to the console.

Understand the Revolution 5 Pro tradeoffs
The Revolution 5 Pro is a direct match if your priority is a PS5-compatible controller with built-in Hall effect sticks; Nacon also specifies Hall effect triggers. But it is not an unqualified upgrade over a DualSense. Nacon says its vibration motors do not work in dedicated PS5 games, and its support information says the controller has no adaptive triggers. If those forms of PS5 feedback matter to you, weigh that limitation against the stick and trigger sensors.
Nacon says the controller uses a dedicated dongle for compatibility and cannot wake a PS4 or PS5; its support page says only a Sony DualSense can wake those consoles. If you rely on waking the console from the controller, keep a DualSense available. Nacon’s support information covers these model-specific details.

Check the exact Victrix version and included modules
The Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded is the modular alternative described with Hall effect sticks and triggers. Verify that a listing names Reloaded, not the original Pro BFG, and inspect the included modules rather than assuming a particular configuration. Regional SKUs and current manufacturer specifications are the best check for what a given package supports.
