Check the subscription or billing area of each platform account, then compare what you find with your bank or card statement. Apple, Google Play, Roku, and Amazon show subscriptions billed through their respective services—not a complete list of every streaming subscription you own. If a charge is missing, it may be billed directly by the streaming provider or attached to another account.
Where to check each platform
The account used to sign up matters: a subscription may not appear if you are signed into a different Apple Account, Google Account, Roku account, or Amazon account. The table summarizes the places to check and the cancellation clues documented by the platforms. Interfaces can vary by device, app version, language, and region.

| Platform | Where to look | Account or billing clue | Where to manage or cancel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple | On iPhone or iPad: Settings > your name > Subscriptions | Use the Apple Account associated with the purchase; the receipt can help identify it. | Use Apple’s subscription settings or another supported Apple route. An Apple TV subscription billed through Google Play must be canceled through Google Play. |
| Google Play | Google Play > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions | Use the Google Account used to subscribe. A subscription may be under a different account. | Manage it in Google Play under the account holding the subscription. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it. |
| Roku | Sign in at my.roku.com/subscriptions; also review Roku purchase history. | Roku-billed charges may appear as “Roku,” “Roku for ___,” or “The Roku Channel.” A statement charge absent from Roku purchase history may be from the provider. | Some Roku-billed Disney+, Hulu, or Sling TV subscriptions require contacting the service to manage or cancel. Subscriptions purchased directly from a provider are managed there. |
| Amazon Prime Video | Check the Channels or subscriptions area in Prime Video for channel add-ons. | Look for subscriptions associated with the Amazon account. | Amazon says Prime Video Channels subscriptions can be managed through Prime Video. Availability and pricing vary by territory. |
These routes reflect platform help guidance accessed October 4, 2026. If a label has changed, look for the account’s current subscriptions, billing, or purchase-history area. Platform subscription lists are not universal inventories: a service app working on a device does not by itself show who bills you.

Apple’s cancellation guidance covers account settings on Apple devices and other supported routes. There is an important billing exception: if your Apple TV subscription on Android is billed through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play rather than through Apple.

Check Google Play subscriptions
- Open the Google Play app on Android.
- Tap the profile icon, then choose Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Confirm that the selected Google Account is the one used to sign up. If the subscription is not listed, check your other Google Accounts.
Removing or uninstalling a streaming app does not stop its subscription billing. Cancel through Google Play for the account that holds the subscription. Google says access generally continues through the period already paid for.
Check Roku subscriptions and purchase history
- Sign in to your Roku account and open my.roku.com/subscriptions.
- Review your Roku purchase history as well as the subscriptions page.
- Compare any subscription entries with the charges on your bank or card statement.
Roku says its subscription charges may be described as “Roku,” “Roku for ___,” or “The Roku Channel.” If a charge appears on your statement but not in Roku purchase history, Roku says it may have been purchased directly through the streaming provider.

Billing and cancellation do not always point to the same place. Roku says subscribers billed by Roku for Disney+, Hulu, or Sling TV should contact those services directly to manage or cancel. A subscription purchased directly from a provider must also be managed through that provider. When a Roku-billed subscription is canceled, Roku says viewing generally continues until the end of the billing period.

In Prime Video, look in the Channels or subscriptions area for add-ons tied to your Amazon account. Prime Video Channels are separate streaming subscriptions that Amazon says can be managed through Prime Video. Their availability and pricing depend on territory, so the channel list and terms you see may differ by location.

If a subscription or charge is missing
- Verify the account first. Check the Apple Account or Google Account used at signup. Apple receipts can help identify the Apple Account; Google notes that an unlisted subscription may belong to another Google Account.
- Match the statement entry. Compare the merchant descriptor and amount with platform purchase history. Roku’s examples—“Roku,” “Roku for ___,” and “The Roku Channel”—can help identify Roku billing.
- Check for direct provider billing. A streaming service that works through a Roku device may still bill you directly. Roku distinguishes provider-purchased subscriptions from subscriptions purchased through Roku.
- Check Prime Video Channels separately. A channel add-on associated with Amazon may be managed in Prime Video rather than through a standalone signup with the streaming service.
- Use the account that actually holds the subscription to cancel. Do not treat app removal as cancellation; Google explicitly says uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.
- Look for cancellation confirmation and the end date. Google and Roku say access generally lasts through the already-paid billing period after cancellation.
