Compare your PC’s CPU, graphics card, RAM, Windows version, DirectX support and free storage with NCSoft’s official AION 2 Global requirements. Meeting the minimum specifications is a compatibility baseline, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or smooth performance.
What PC specs does AION 2 require?
NCSoft’s AION 2 Global Support FAQ, dated July 21, 2026, lists minimum and recommended hardware. The Steam listing repeats the same table. These requirements apply to the Global PC version; regional clients may publish different details.

At FHD resolution, NCSoft says to use Very Low for compatibility on minimum hardware and Low on recommended hardware. The requirements do not specify a target frame rate, performance at resolutions above FHD, or results in crowded scenes.
How to find your PC’s specifications
- Check the processor and RAM: Open Settings > System > About, or open Task Manager > Performance. Note the processor model and installed memory.
- Check the graphics card: In Task Manager, select Performance > GPU, or open Device Manager > Display adapters. Record the full graphics model. Compare the model itself with the listed GTX 1050 Ti or RTX 2070; a broad series name or the PC’s age is not enough to establish equivalence.
- Confirm Windows and DirectX: Verify that Windows is 10 or 11 and 64-bit, and that DirectX 12 is supported.
- Check free space: Look at the drive where you plan to install the game. It needs 100 GB available.
How to judge the comparison
Compare each component separately with the minimum and recommended columns. A processor above the minimum does not make up for RAM or graphics below the listed minimum. If your parts fall between the two tiers, the official table does not say what performance to expect.

- At or above every minimum: The PC meets the listed minimum baseline. For FHD compatibility, NCSoft specifies the Very Low preset at this tier; meeting the baseline is not a performance guarantee.
- At or above every recommended specification: The PC meets the recommended baseline. NCSoft still specifies Low at FHD for compatibility, and does not promise a particular frame rate.
NCSoft publishes the requirements but does not provide a PC scanner or a conversion guide for comparing every processor and graphics card. If your hardware is a different brand or close to a listed model, do not treat a definite pass as established without a reliable direct comparison.
What to check before upgrading
First identify the specific requirement your PC misses; then check whether an upgrade fits and works with your computer. The official table recommends an SSD but does not make one mandatory. Before buying a drive, confirm your PC supports its size and interface and has a compatible slot or connection. The requirements alone do not establish which upgrade offers the best value or a particular performance gain.

Can you get a definite answer for your PC?
Not from the requirements table alone. To assess an individual computer, you need its CPU, GPU, RAM, Windows version and architecture, DirectX version, and available storage. You can compare those details against the table above; a borderline or differently branded component may need a reliable model-to-model comparison. Check NCSoft’s current FAQ as well, since specifications can change.
