Check the Windows edition and feature version alongside the exact Kaspersky product and application version installed. Then compare both against current official support documentation for that Kaspersky product; a general statement that Kaspersky supports Windows 10 and 11 is not proof that every product release supports every Windows update.
What to check before deciding
“Windows 11” or “Kaspersky” by itself is not specific enough for a reliable compatibility answer. Record both sides of the pairing:

Find your Windows edition and version
- Open Settings > System > About.
- Under Windows specifications, note the edition and version. The version is the feature release, such as 22H2 or 24H2; do not rely on the Windows 10 or Windows 11 label alone.
- Record the system type as well, such as 64-bit operating system. A product’s requirements may include architecture restrictions.
Find the Kaspersky product and application version
- Open the installed Kaspersky application.
- Open its About or Support information. The exact menu wording can differ by product.
- Write down the full product name and application version. If several Kaspersky products or installations appear, use the details for the one actually protecting this PC.
Match the two versions to Kaspersky’s documentation
- Go to Kaspersky Product Support and select the exact product, then open documentation for the installed release.
- Compare your Windows edition and feature version, and system type if specified, with the supported operating systems and any restrictions.
- Check whether the documentation requires particular Windows patches or Kaspersky application updates, and install the applicable updates Kaspersky identifies.
- If the exact pairing is not explicitly covered in current product-specific documentation, ask Kaspersky support to confirm it. Do not treat an older release’s requirements as a current compatibility matrix.
For example, Kaspersky’s requirements page for version 21.9 names Windows 11 21H2 and 22H2 and Windows 10 versions through 22H2. That page establishes requirements for the documented 21.9 release; it does not prove support by other Kaspersky versions or later Windows feature releases. Keep Windows servicing separate from Kaspersky compatibility
Microsoft’s support dates describe Windows servicing, not whether Kaspersky supports a particular Windows release. Microsoft says Windows 10 version 22H2 reached end of updates on 2025-10-14. Microsoft: Supported versions of Windows client
Microsoft’s release-health status says Windows 11 version 24H2 Home and Pro reach end of updates on 2026-10-13; as of March 27, 2026, eligible users can check Settings > Windows Update for an offered update to 25H2. How to interpret an unclear result
- The exact Windows release is listed for your installed Kaspersky version: follow any stated patch, architecture, or other restrictions.
- A broad product page lists Windows 10 or 11, but not your feature release: treat the result as unconfirmed, not as a guarantee.
- You found a requirements page for an older Kaspersky release: use it only for that release; find the installed version’s documentation or ask Kaspersky support.
- Installation succeeds, but documentation is unclear: setup launching is not the same as an officially documented support status.
