To check whether Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game DLC is available, verify three separate things: your platform account owns the add-on, it is installed, and the content has been released and is visible in the game. On PS5, you can check installation from the game tile’s Options menu. On Steam, Xbox, and Switch, the official information available does not establish a title-specific DLC status path, so start with the store account and edition you purchased.
First, identify the DLC and platform account
Check the store receipt or your account’s purchase history to confirm exactly what you own: a Deluxe Edition, the Deluxe Edition Upgrade, the Year 1 Pass, or another add-on. An edition or add-on bought on one platform should not be assumed to grant access on another; check the account and storefront tied to the platform where you play.

The official Steam listing describes a Digital Deluxe Edition that includes the full game, Year 1 Pass, original soundtrack, and digital artbook, and separately lists a Deluxe Edition Upgrade. The PlayStation Store lists the base game and a Deluxe Edition Upgrade containing the Year 1 Pass, soundtrack, and digital artbook. PS5
- On the PS5 home screen, highlight Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game.
- Press the controller’s Options button and choose Manage Game Content.
- Find the add-on and check its status. If it is not marked Installed, select it to install.

Steam
Steam’s official listing confirms the Digital Deluxe Edition and separate Deluxe Edition Upgrade, but the official sources reviewed do not specify the exact Steam client steps for checking this game’s DLC installation. Confirm that the correct Steam account owns the edition or add-on, then check its DLC and installation state in Steam. If the purchase is present but the content still does not appear, contact the game’s listed support email: [email protected]. Steam Support identifies Gameplay Group International as developer and PM Studios, Inc. and Paramount Games as publishers: Steam Support.
Xbox Series X|S
The publisher lists Xbox Series X|S among the game’s platforms, but the official sources reviewed do not provide a title-specific Xbox DLC installation path. Check that the Xbox account you use owns the intended add-on and that any associated download or update has completed. Do not treat a menu path from another platform as confirmed Xbox guidance. Nintendo of America’s listing presents a digital standard edition and notes Switch 2 compatibility. The official sources reviewed do not establish a Switch DLC product for this game or a title-specific DLC status menu. Distinguish installed content from content available in-game
An add-on can be owned without being installed; an installed add-on may also contain season content that has not yet been released or surfaced in the game. The Steam Year 1 Pass listing says it adds five characters over the season: Iroh, Ty Lee, Lin Beifong, Bolin, and the winner of the Year 1 Character Vote. That is a description of promised season contents, not evidence that all five are released or selectable now. Check the game’s character or relevant content menu for what is currently available, and consult the store listing for the pass details: Steam Year 1 Pass listing.

After confirming installation, restart the game and check the relevant mode or content menu. This is general troubleshooting, not a guaranteed title-specific step: the point at which installed content appears is determined by the game.

If the DLC still does not appear
- Verify that you are signed in to the platform account that made the purchase.
- Compare the exact owned edition or add-on with the store listing; ownership of the base game alone does not establish ownership of an upgrade or pass.
- Allow any download or game update to finish, then reopen the game and check the relevant menu.
- Do not purchase the upgrade again until you have distinguished a missing purchase entitlement from an installation or release-availability issue.
- If the platform’s store shows ownership but the add-on remains unavailable, use that platform’s support. Steam players can also contact the game support email listed above.
