If Fiber isn’t listed, check which other AT&T services are offered. The checker may show Internet Air, which is delivered over AT&T’s 5G wireless network.

If the address isn’t eligible for Fiber, AT&T says you can sign up for an alert when it becomes available.
AT&T’s support article gives the short version: “Go to the Check availability page.” AT&T support instructions
Why a map or neighbor’s result isn’t enough
AT&T’s fiber coverage map is an overview, not a guarantee that a particular property can be connected. The map describes its coverage as approximate and subject to change without notice; AT&T directs customers to check an exact address for the services, plans, and speeds available there.

Nearby homes can have different eligibility. AT&T’s coverage-map FAQ explains: “Sometimes your neighbors may be eligible for AT&T Fiber but your home is not when you check availability.” A ZIP code, city-level footprint, or neighbor’s result therefore doesn’t establish that your address qualifies.
How to interpret the result
If AT&T Fiber appears
Use the plans and speeds returned by the checker for your address, rather than assuming a package shown elsewhere is available to you. If the checker lists multiple services or plans, compare the service type, available speed tiers, and the plan terms displayed for your address. Offers can vary; there isn’t one universal set of plans or prices for every location.
If AT&T Fiber doesn’t appear
Read the other service options the checker presents. Internet Air, if offered, uses AT&T’s 5G wireless network rather than a fiber connection, so compare the service type as well as the available plan details.

A result that doesn’t list Fiber means the checker isn’t showing it as available at that address now. It does not establish when, or whether, Fiber will reach the property. AT&T says deployment can depend on factors such as permitting, access, resources, and environmental conditions; it does not give a guaranteed expansion date for an individual address. You can request an availability alert through AT&T if one is offered.

Check that the address is complete and that you included the correct unit number for a multi-unit building.

Run the search again in AT&T’s checker. Availability and plan details can change as network buildout and local conditions change.

Use the exact-address result rather than a map footprint or a nearby property’s result; those are not substitutes for checking your own service address.
AT&T’s fiber coverage map also presents coverage as an approximate overview. For an address-specific decision, the live checker’s result is the relevant one.
