Move the address bar to the bottom
Brave’s Android instructions give this route:
- Open Brave on your Android device.
- Tap the ⋮ main menu.
- Tap Appearance.
- Toggle Address bar to place it at the bottom.
Brave also lists long-pressing the address bar as an alternative. Its instructions do not describe any follow-up prompt, so the exact interaction after the long press may depend on what your installed version shows.

Move the address bar back to the top
Brave’s published steps document placing the bar at the bottom, not a separate reverse procedure. Revisit ⋮ → Appearance → Address bar and choose the desired position if your installed version presents that option. The available instructions do not establish a universal label or sequence for moving it back.
Address bar, toolbar and menu are different controls
“Toolbar” can mean different parts of the browser interface. The official instructions name the Address bar setting under Appearance; do not assume that a toolbar-position control changes the address bar too. A Brave Community discussion illustrates this distinction, but is not definitive current setup guidance.

Change which actions appear in the main menu
To show or hide menu actions, tap ⋮ → Customize menu, then choose which actions to display. This changes the menu’s contents; it does not move the address bar. See Brave’s menu customization instructions.

Adjust New Tab Page display
For New Tab Page elements, go to Main Menu → Settings → Display → New Tab Page. Brave lists controls for background images, sponsored images, Top Sites and Brave Stats. These settings affect the New Tab Page, not address-bar placement. See Brave’s New Tab Page instructions.

- If the control or its wording differs, follow the options actually shown by your installed Brave version; the published instructions do not establish a universal reverse-position label.
- Do not rely on older toolbar advice as a substitute for Brave’s current documented address-bar route.
