Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Use Chrome DevTools’ Responsive mode and enter a CSS viewport size—not the OnePlus 12’s full panel resolution. Published estimates disagree: one lists 412 × 905 CSS pixels at DPR 3.5, while another lists 450 × 990 at DPR 3.2. Treat either as a starting preset, not a guaranteed specification; for an exact match, measure the viewport on the handset you need to reproduce.
OnePlus 12 screen resolution is not its browser viewport
OnePlus specifies the phone’s display as 3168 × 1440 pixels, with a 6.82-inch diagonal and a 19.8:9 aspect ratio. Those are panel specifications, not the dimensions a responsive page necessarily receives in CSS pixels. The browser viewport depends on software and browser configuration as well as device pixel ratio (DPR). OnePlus 12 official specifications

Third-party references do not agree on a single OnePlus 12 CSS viewport. YesViz lists 412 × 905 at DPR 3.5; 1440px lists 450 × 990 at DPR 3.2 and says its figures correspond to stock-browser window.innerWidth and window.innerHeight without browser chrome. The 1440px page says it was last verified on 7 August 2026. YesViz describes its data as collected from other relevant sites. Neither figure is an official OnePlus browser-viewport specification. |---|---|---|---|
| YesViz | 412 × 905 | 3.5 | Provisional emulation preset; not an official specification. |
| 1440px, last verified 7 August 2026 | 450 × 990 | 3.2 | Competing provisional preset; its listed dimensions describe stock-browser inner dimensions without browser chrome. |
If your purpose is testing a particular handset, use its live browser viewport rather than treating either estimate as definitive. Also record orientation and whether browser controls are visible when comparing screenshots.

Capture a OnePlus 12-sized screenshot in Chrome DevTools
Chrome DevTools Device Mode lets you set a custom responsive viewport and save either the visible screen or the full page. Its device emulation is an approximation, not a phone running Chrome. Chrome for Developers: Simulate mobile devices with device mode
- Open the page and DevTools. In Chrome, navigate to the page you want to capture, then open DevTools from the browser menu or with
Ctrl+Shift+Ion Windows/Linux orCmd+Option+Ion macOS. - Enable the device toolbar. In DevTools, select the Toggle device toolbar button. The viewport controls appear above the page.
- Choose Responsive. In the device selector, choose Responsive so you can enter custom dimensions rather than relying on a preset.
- Enter CSS width and height. Start with either 412 × 905 or 450 × 990, depending on which reference you are testing. These values are CSS pixels. To check your own phone, open the page in its browser and inspect
window.innerWidthandwindow.innerHeightin the browser’s remote debugging context or page console. - Set DPR if the test needs it. In the device toolbar controls, set the device pixel ratio to the corresponding reference value (3.5 or 3.2) when you want to emulate how CSS pixels map to device pixels or test resolution-sensitive assets. DPR does not replace viewport width and height.
- Set mobile device type when relevant. Use the device-type control to emulate a mobile device if you need mobile rendering or touch-event behavior. Width and height determine responsive breakpoints; device type affects other aspects of emulation.
- Capture the right area. Open DevTools’ More options menu and choose Capture screenshot for the currently visible emulated viewport, or Capture a full size screenshot to include content outside the viewport.
For repeated tests, save the dimensions and DPR as a custom device preset in DevTools. Label the preset with the chosen estimate and its source so a provisional reference does not become mistaken for a verified handset measurement.
Choose viewport size, DPR and capture mode for the test
- Width and height: Set these to reproduce the CSS layout viewport. A wrong width can move the page across a responsive breakpoint even if the aspect ratio looks similar.
- DPR: Set this when image density, resolution-sensitive assets or the relationship between CSS and physical pixels matters. The estimates above differ on DPR as well as dimensions.
- Device type: Use mobile emulation for mobile-specific rendering and touch behavior; a matching viewport alone does not emulate every phone behavior.
- Visible versus full page: A viewport capture is appropriate for a screen-level comparison. A full-size capture is useful for inspecting the entire document, but it is not a screenshot of only what a user sees at one moment.
When to validate on the actual OnePlus 12
Chrome’s documentation describes Device Mode as a way to “approximate how your page looks and performs on a mobile device.” It does not run the page on a physical phone. Use the handset itself or remote debugging when the result depends on device-specific behavior, browser UI interactions, or exact viewport measurements. DevTools remains useful for fast breakpoint checks and repeatable captures; a phone is not required for a one-off emulated screenshot.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFix mismatches between the emulation and the phone
- The layout breaks at a different point: Check the actual
window.innerWidthandwindow.innerHeighton the handset. The two published estimates conflict, and a few dozen CSS pixels can cross a breakpoint. - The screenshot seems too tall or short: Confirm portrait versus landscape orientation and whether browser chrome is included in the comparison. A webpage viewport is not necessarily the same as the phone’s entire display.
- Images or icons look different: Check the emulated DPR as well as CSS dimensions. DPR can affect which resolution-specific assets a page selects.
- Touch behavior does not match: Confirm that Device Mode is set to a mobile device type; responsive dimensions by themselves do not reproduce all mobile input behavior.
- A capture cuts off the page: Use Capture a full size screenshot for content beyond the visible viewport. Use Capture screenshot when you want only the emulated screen.
Or skip the browser setup
ScreenshotNeo can return a screenshot from one GET request. For a OnePlus 12-sized responsive capture, supply the target CSS viewport dimensions and DPR as request parameters; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameter details.
