What’s actually slowing this PC down?

Screenshot.Rocks’ browser extension captures only what is visible in the current tab. To capture content that appears farther down a page, first use your browser’s full-page screenshot feature or another tool that scrolls through the page, then import the resulting image into the Screenshot.Rocks editor. Scroll-triggered images may not load unless the page is scrolled before capture, so inspect the finished screenshot for missing sections and repeated sticky controls.
Why scrolling matters for a full-page screenshot
Some pages load images or other content only when that area approaches the visible part of the browser. A capture that simply records or renders the page’s full height without scrolling may leave those areas blank. A capture tool that scrolls through the page before recording is designed to trigger this deferred content. ScreenshotOne, for example, described improving its scrolling routine to make lazy-loaded content appear more reliably in a December 3, 2024 changelog entry: ScreenshotOne’s changelog.
Scrolling and stitching can introduce a different problem: fixed headers, footers, or floating buttons may show up repeatedly where image segments meet. Check the final image rather than assuming a full-page capture is complete or clean.

Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Capture the page, then finish it in Screenshot.Rocks
- Open the page and let its initial content load. If it requires a login, open it in the browser where you are signed in. Screenshot.Rocks says its extension works with the current browser tab, including pages behind a login; the full-page capture itself is handled separately by the browser or another capture tool.
- Scroll through the portion you need. Move down in stages and pause when new images or sections are still appearing. This can prompt lazy-loaded content to load before you take the full-page capture. Screenshot.Rocks does not claim to automate this preliminary scrolling.
- Take a full-page capture. Use your browser’s full-page screenshot command, or a capture tool that explicitly scrolls through and stitches the page. Screenshot.Rocks’ product information recommends the browser’s full-page feature, but the exact command depends on the browser; no browser-specific key sequence is established here.
- Inspect the result. Look for blank image areas, missing sections, repeated sticky headers or floating controls, and cut-off content. If something is missing, scroll to that section, wait for its loading indicator to finish, and capture again.
- Import and export in Screenshot.Rocks. Drop the completed screenshot into the editor, choose a style or background, and export. Screenshot.Rocks is the finishing step in this workflow; its extension does not itself create a full-page capture. See Screenshot.Rocks’ product information.
Choose a capture method for the page you have
The right route depends on what you need to capture. Browser full-page capture can be convenient for a page open in your current session; another scrolling capture tool may be useful when you need more control over scrolling or fixed elements. For an expanding feed, define where to stop rather than assuming a single operation will capture an unlimited page.
- Deferred images or sections: scroll through the required portion before capturing, or choose a tool designed to scroll before recording.
- Sticky headers or floating bars: inspect for repeats or overlaps. If the result is messy, try a method with controls for fixed elements or hiding them.
- Infinite scroll: decide which loaded portion you need and verify the bottom edge. There may be no natural endpoint for one full-page operation.
- Logged-in content: capture from the browser tab where you can access it. Behavior depends on the browser and capture method.
- Safari: Screenshot.Rocks says it has no Safari extension and provides a visible-window screenshot shortcut. For a complete page, use Safari’s separate full-page capture route or another scrolling capture method.
Troubleshoot missing or messy content
Images or sections are blank
The content may not have loaded because it was never brought into view. Scroll through the relevant section before capture, wait for visible loading indicators to resolve, and try again. The necessary wait varies by site; there is no universal wait time established for this workflow.
