What’s actually slowing this PC down?

On most Android phones, open the webpage and press Power + Volume Down at the same time. The screenshot uses the phone’s built-in capture feature, so you do not need to install another app. For a full webpage, try Android’s Capture more option if the phone runs Android 12 or later, or Chrome’s separate Long screenshot workflow.
Take a regular screenshot
- Open the website in your browser and bring the content you want into view.
- Press Power + Volume Down together. Google lists this as the standard Android screenshot shortcut.
- Open the phone’s screenshot preview if you want to crop or share the image, or find it later in the Screenshots album or folder.
If the button combination does not work, some devices offer a Screenshot option from the Power-button menu: hold Power and tap Screenshot if it appears. Controls differ by manufacturer and model; use the phone maker’s support instructions for the exact steps. Google’s Android screenshot instructions describe the standard method and this fallback.

Capture a whole webpage
Android system capture: Android 12 or later
Take a screenshot using the button shortcut. If the screen supports it, tap Capture more in the screenshot controls, then adjust the crop guides to include the additional content and save. Google documents this feature for Android 12 and later. It works on most screens that allow scrolling, but it is not available on every app or screen.
Chrome’s Long screenshot tool
- Open the page in Chrome.
- Tap More > Share… > Long screenshot.
- Adjust the crop handles to include the part of the page you need, then confirm. Chrome’s workflow lets you share or save the resulting image.
This is a Chrome-specific route, not a feature guaranteed in every browser or on every older device. Chrome’s instructions do not establish a universal minimum Android version for this workflow. Screenshots are blocked in Chrome Incognito; open the page in a regular tab instead. Chrome’s Long screenshot instructions show the browser steps; its Incognito guidance explains the screenshot restriction.

Find the screenshot and keep storage use under control
Locate the saved image
In Google Photos, look under Collections > On this device > Screenshots. If the phone does not have Photos, check its Gallery app and open the Screenshots folder. Google notes that not having Photos may mean the phone is running an older Android version; the Gallery app may be the way to browse local images.
Check space before deleting anything
Open Settings > Storage to see what is using space. Labels and paths vary by manufacturer and Android version. Google’s general Android guidance says a phone can start having issues when less than 10% of its storage is free; this is a general low-storage warning, not a screenshot-specific threshold or a measurement of screenshot size. See Google’s Android performance guidance.

To make room, review files and remove only items you no longer need, or copy files to a computer over USB if your phone and computer support the connection. Google’s storage guidance covers reviewing and moving files. Files by Google may show an Old screenshots cleanup card for screenshots created or received more than four weeks ago. Review the selected files before moving them to Trash; see Files by Google’s screenshot cleanup instructions. The available storage hardware and connection options depend on the specific phone, so do not assume it supports a memory card or a particular USB accessory.

If you need a screenshot from a computer-based workflow rather than saving one on the phone, ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. One GET request can return an image or PDF. Its capture can accept cookie banners and remove known consent platforms, newsletter popups and chat widgets before taking the shot; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads and cache hits are not billed, and responses include X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed headers. AI agents can use its MCP server tools, including take_screenshot, get_page_info and capture_pdf.
For a WebP screenshot, replace the example URL with the page you want to capture:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options. The free plan includes 1,000 shots per month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan.

Quick Recap
Common problems
- The button shortcut does nothing: press Power and Volume Down at the same time. If that fails, check for Screenshot in the Power-button menu or consult the phone maker’s instructions for your model.
- There is no Capture more button: the system scrolling capture is documented for Android 12 and later and appears only on most scrollable screens. Use Chrome’s Long screenshot option if available, or capture the visible portion with an ordinary screenshot.
- Chrome does not show Long screenshot: confirm that you are using Chrome and check its More > Share… options. The documented workflow is browser-specific and is not guaranteed on every device or page.
- Screenshot is unavailable in Incognito: open the same page in a regular Chrome tab.
- You cannot find the saved image: check Collections > On this device > Screenshots in Photos, or look in Gallery’s Screenshots folder on an older phone.
- The phone warns that storage is low: inspect Settings > Storage and review files before deleting. A Chrome download is managed through Downloads, not the screenshot folder.
