In Chrome DevTools, turn on the device toolbar, set a Responsive viewport, and use Capture screenshot for the visible area or Capture a full size screenshot for the whole page. Vivo lists the V30 display as 2800 × 1260 pixels, but that is the panel’s physical resolution—not a verified Chrome CSS viewport size. For a practical emulation, enter the viewport dimensions you want to test; for an exact check, inspect the site on the phone itself.
Set up a Vivo V30-sized viewport in Chrome DevTools
- Open the website in Chrome, then open DevTools. You can use Chrome’s menu or the keyboard shortcut for your operating system.
- Click Toggle device toolbar in the DevTools action bar. Device mode opens in Responsive mode by default.
- In the device toolbar’s dimensions controls, select Responsive and enter the width and height you want to emulate. These fields accept values directly. Chrome documents this workflow in its device mode guide.
- If you need mobile input behavior as well as a chosen viewport, set Device Type to Mobile. Chrome also provides Mobile (no touch), Desktop, and Desktop (touch) modes.
- To set a device pixel ratio, open More options and choose Add device pixel ratio, then select a value you have verified for your target. DPR is the ratio of hardware-screen pixels to logical CSS pixels.
What dimensions should you enter for the Vivo V30?
Vivo’s official V30 product page lists a 6.78-inch display with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. Those figures describe the physical display panel. They do not establish the phone’s browser viewport in CSS pixels or its device pixel ratio, so entering 2800 × 1260 in DevTools should not be presented as an exact reproduction of the V30 browser view.

If your goal is to check responsive layout, use the CSS viewport dimensions your site is designed to support or a measured viewport from the phone. If the exact V30 rendering matters, test on the handset. Chrome describes Device mode as an approximation of mobile display and behavior, not a replacement for a physical device. It recommends remote debugging when you need to inspect the page on the actual phone; see its official guidance and Vivo’s V30 specifications.

Capture the visible screen or the complete page
With the device toolbar active, open More options and choose the capture scope you need:

These are different outputs: use the first to review what a visitor sees on initial load, and the full-size option when you need the page’s off-screen content in one image.
Save a reusable custom device profile
If you repeatedly test the same viewport, add a custom device from the device list’s Edit control or through Settings > Devices. Enter the width and height you have chosen; DPR, user agent, and device type are optional fields. A saved profile makes repeat tests quicker, but it does not supply verified Vivo-specific CSS viewport or DPR values.

The screenshot is much larger than the phone display
Check whether you entered the physical panel resolution instead of a CSS viewport. Vivo’s 2800 × 1260 figure is panel resolution; it is not established as the browser viewport. Enter the CSS dimensions you intend to emulate.

The page looks mobile-sized but behaves like desktop
Responsive dimensions set the viewport, but do not alone select the input mode. Set Device Type to Mobile if you need mobile touch behavior.

Text and images appear at the wrong scale
Review the DPR selection under More options > Add device pixel ratio. Do not infer DPR from the V30’s 2800 × 1260 panel resolution; use a value verified for the device or treat the result as an approximation.
The capture omits content lower on the page
Capture screenshot captures the visible viewport. Choose Capture a full size screenshot when you need content outside that viewport.
The emulation does not match the physical V30
Device mode is an approximation. Verify behavior on the phone and use Chrome remote debugging for on-device inspection when exact rendering or interaction matters.
