To capture a localized page with Screenshot.rocks, enter the page’s language- or market-specific URL, choose desktop or mobile, select Capture, then style and export the result. This works when the destination site serves the desired locale from that URL. If it instead relies on a saved cookie, browser settings, location, or an interactive selector, Screenshot.rocks’ documented online workflow does not expose those controls; use the site’s own selector in your browser and capture the resulting tab, or use a capture service with the specific locale controls you need.
Capture a localized URL in Screenshot.rocks
- Open the Screenshot.rocks website screenshot editor and find Or capture a website.
- Enter the full URL for the language or market you want. The guide says the
https://prefix may be omitted, but including it makes the destination explicit. For example, use the target site’s localized path if it provides one. - Choose Mobile for a phone layout. Otherwise, the online capture uses its desktop layout.
- Select Capture. The page appears inside a browser-style frame with its address in the bar.
- Choose the frame style and background, then export the image.
Screenshot.rocks describes this as a capture of the first screen—the part a visitor sees before scrolling—not a full-page screenshot. Its published output specifications are 1440 × 800 at 2× density for desktop (2880 × 1600 pixels), and 375 × 812 at 3× density for mobile (1125 × 2436 pixels). These are vendor specifications; check the current guide if exact output dimensions matter to your workflow.

Choose the right locale signal
A localized URL is the simplest route, but it is not a guarantee that every regional detail will change. The destination site determines how it chooses language, currency, units, dates, and regional offers. It may use one or more signals, so match the capture method to the site’s behavior.
- The site has a language or market URL: enter that URL in Screenshot.rocks first.
- The site remembers a choice in a cookie or requires a selector: use the site’s language or market selector in your regular browser. If the page is accessible in the current tab, use the Screenshot.rocks browser extension to capture what is visible.
- The site chooses by browser language, time zone, IP country, or browser geolocation: Screenshot.rocks’ documented online URL workflow does not list controls for those settings. ScreenshotOne’s localization documentation describes controls such as
Accept-Language, time zone, IP-country or proxy routing, and browser geolocation; that is an alternative workflow, not a documented Screenshot.rocks feature.
Changing only the URL cannot be assumed to set a particular currency, measurement system, date format, or offer. Check the actual rendered page before using the image.

When to use the browser extension instead
The online capture is server-side and loads a public page as a first-time visitor. According to Screenshot.rocks, it cannot access logged-in content, localhost, or sites that block automated browsers. For an accessible page already open in your browser—including a page whose locale depends on a cookie or an interactive selection—the extension captures the visible current tab and opens it in the editor.
The extension captures only the visible area, not the entire page. For a long page, use your browser’s native full-page screenshot feature, then import that image into the editor. Screenshot.rocks says Chrome and Edge request the activeTab permission and that clicking the extension sends the screenshot to Screenshot.rocks to open in the editor, where it is not stored. Its homepage also says images are processed in the browser and not stored on its servers. These are the vendor’s stated privacy practices, not an independent audit.

- A sign-in page appears instead of the target content: the online capture starts as a first-time visitor and cannot access logged-in content. Open the page in your browser and use the extension for the visible state.
- The screenshot cuts off below the first screen: that is the online capture’s documented scope. Capture the whole page with your browser’s native full-page screenshot feature and import the resulting image.
- The extension image omits content farther down: the extension captures the visible tab, not the full page. Use browser-native full-page capture when you need content below the viewport.
