To arrange content across printable pages in landscape orientation, export a paginated PDF with a landscape layout. They are different outputs, and the right method depends on whether you need an image or a document.
Choose the right kind of capture

Landscape is a page-layout setting for a PDF. It does not make a webpage screenshot wider, and rotating a phone is not the same as exporting a landscape PDF. Capture support also depends on the app and content: these steps do not establish that every app, embedded scroll area, or document can be captured in full.

Capture an entire webpage in Firefox
Firefox can capture the full webpage as an image, with options to download it or copy it to the clipboard. Follow these steps on desktop:
- Open the webpage and let the content you need finish loading.
- Right-click an empty area of the page and select Take Screenshot. Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows or Linux, or Command+Shift+S on macOS.
- Select Save full page.
- Choose Download to save the image or Copy to copy it to the clipboard.
These instructions are for webpage capture, not for exporting a document as multiple printable pages. Mozilla’s Firefox screenshot guide describes capturing visible areas or a full webpage.

Use Firefox Developer Tools instead
If you prefer a command, Firefox Developer Tools supports the :screenshot --fullpage command. The screenshot toolbox button may need to be enabled first. See Mozilla’s Developer Tools screenshot documentation for command and toolbox details.
Save an iPhone full-page screenshot
Apple documents Full Page capture for content longer than the screen, such as an entire Safari webpage. It can be saved as an image in Photos or as a PDF in Files.

- Take a screenshot: on an iPhone with Face ID, press and release the Side button and Volume Up together. On an iPhone with a Home button, press and release the Side button and Home button together.
- Tap the screenshot preview, then select Full Page if that option is available.
- Save to Photos as an image, or choose Save PDF to Files.
The Full Page option is not established for every app or screen. Apple’s iPhone screenshot instructions describe the supported flow.

If you need a printable PDF rather than one continuous webpage image, use an export tool that provides both page orientation and splitting controls. GoFullPage’s Chrome Web Store listing records that version 6.6, dated July 15, 2020, added PDF export with landscape layout and smart page splitting. Its change history also records image splitting for very long pages in version 1.0.0, dated May 9, 2016. These are dated release notes, not confirmation of the extension’s current interface; check the current listing and export controls before relying on exact steps. Before exporting, check whether the tool lets you set landscape orientation, how it divides content at page boundaries, and whether the result is a PDF or a set of images. Splitting can make a very long capture easier to print or share, but it is not the same as saving one tall image.

Common problems and what to check
- You only got the visible screen: In Firefox, choose Save full page rather than a visible-area capture.
- The iPhone Full Page option is missing: Apple’s documented flow applies to supported content, including Safari webpages; it is not guaranteed for every app or screen.
- The screenshot is too tall to use: A full-page webpage capture is a continuous image. If you need printable sheets, choose a PDF export with page splitting instead.
- The PDF is portrait or breaks at the wrong places: Confirm the export’s orientation and page-splitting settings. The cited GoFullPage landscape feature is recorded in a 2020 release note, so verify the current controls.
- Part of the page is missing: Let the page load before capturing. Full-page support for embedded scroll areas and every dynamic element is not established by the cited instructions.
