Then press Ctrl+Shift+S and choose Capture full page. Check the finished image: Edge captures beyond the visible screen, but Microsoft does not say that this command triggers every site’s scroll-based loading or preserves content a virtualized page has removed.
Capture the page with Edge Screenshot
- Open the page in Edge. If you only need part of a long feed, note the starting and ending sections you want.
- Scroll through the content you want included. Move down in stretches and pause after each one until new items have appeared and finished loading. This is a practical way to prompt scroll-triggered loading; it is not a guarantee that every site will load or retain all its content.
- Open Screenshot. Press Ctrl+Shift+S, then select Capture full page. Microsoft describes this option as capturing beyond the visible screen without needing to scroll during the capture itself. Check whether the infinite-scroll content made it into the capture
Do not assume that a full-page image contains every item you saw while scrolling. Infinite-scroll behavior is controlled by the website: some pages append loaded items to the document, while others replace off-screen items to conserve resources. Microsoft’s published guidance explains full-page capture but does not establish that Edge automatically triggers every scroll-dependent load or captures content that the page no longer renders.

Look for an unexpected end point, missing sections, blank gaps, repeated sticky headers, or content that appears to have been replaced. If anything is missing, capture overlapping sections after scrolling, or use the site’s own export or print option if it offers one. Check that any resulting file includes the information you need.

Use DevTools for a full-size screenshot
If the ordinary Screenshot result is unsuitable, Edge DevTools offers an advanced command: Capture a full size screenshot in Device Mode’s screenshot controls. Microsoft documents capturing the page beyond the viewport with this option. It captures the page as rendered; the documentation does not promise that it will load content the site has not already made available. Microsoft Edge DevTools: Device Mode
As with the built-in Screenshot tool, inspect the output. Switching to DevTools is not a workaround for items that have never loaded or that the page has removed from its rendered content.

Which Edge method should you try?

Troubleshooting incomplete captures
- The screenshot stops before the content you saw. Scroll farther down, pause for new items to load, and capture again. For a long feed, make several overlapping captures so there are no gaps between sections.
- Items are missing even though you scrolled through them. The site may remove off-screen items from the rendered page. Try overlapping captures as you move down, or check for a site-provided export or print function.
- The capture has blank gaps or repeated elements. Inspect the page and image for lazy-loaded content or sticky interface elements. Retry after the page settles; if the issue remains, capture overlapping sections or use the site’s own export option.
- You cannot find Screenshot or the full-page option. Try Ctrl+Shift+S. Feature availability and interface details can vary by device, market, and browser version, according to Microsoft’s feature page.
