You don’t need an extension for a standard full-page screenshot in Microsoft Edge. Open the page, press Ctrl+Shift+S, choose Capture full page, review the result, then save it. Extensions are optional if you need a particular output format or help with exceptionally long pages.
Capture and save a full webpage in Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge and go to the webpage you want to capture.
- Open Web capture by pressing Ctrl+Shift+S, or select Settings and more (…) > Web capture.
- Select Capture full page.
- Review the capture and save it to your device.

Capture only part of a page or mark it up
Choose Capture area in Web capture, then select the region you want. Edge also lets you copy or mark up a capture before saving it, which can be useful when you need to highlight a detail rather than archive the whole page.

If the full-page capture is incomplete
Microsoft’s guide describes the normal capture workflow but does not promise that every embedded frame, document, or dynamically structured page will be captured completely. A Microsoft Tech Community thread includes user reports of problems with SharePoint and embedded or scrollable content; those reports are anecdotal, not an official compatibility statement.

- Wait for the page to finish loading, then try the capture again.
- Use Capture area if you only need a specific visible section.
- If a particular long-page behavior or format matters, check whether an extension’s current listing describes it.
