In Chrome on a Mac, open DevTools, turn on the Device Toolbar, then choose More options → Capture a full size screenshot. Chrome captures the page beyond the visible viewport. Make sure you choose the full-size option—not the regular screenshot, which captures only the viewport.
Capture the entire page in Chrome DevTools

Open the webpage in Chrome, then open DevTools with Command+Option+C. Alternatively, use Command+Option+J to open the Console. See Chrome’s DevTools overview.

In DevTools, click Toggle device toolbar in the action bar. The toolbar’s Dimensions setting defaults to Responsive. Choose a device or viewport only if you want the page captured at that size. See Chrome’s Device Mode documentation.

In the Device Toolbar, open More options and select Capture a full size screenshot. This captures content beyond the part of the page currently visible on screen.

Locate the resulting image using Chrome’s download behavior and settings. Chrome’s cited instructions confirm the capture command but do not establish a universal filename, image format, or download-folder location.

What Device Mode does—and does not do
Device Mode lets you view a page in a simulated device or responsive viewport from your desktop. It is an approximation of a mobile experience, not a test running on a physical phone. For a full-page capture at a chosen width, set the desired dimensions in the Device Toolbar before selecting Capture a full size screenshot.
Troubleshoot a missing or wrong screenshot

The image shows only the visible screen: You likely chose Capture screenshot. Reopen Device Toolbar → More options and select Capture a full size screenshot.

You cannot find the full-size command: Confirm that the Device Toolbar is enabled. The full-page command is in its More options menu, not the Command Menu.

You need a cropped region: Use the Command Menu’s area capture and drag over the desired region. DevTools must be docked for this command to work.

The page looks different from a real phone: Device Mode simulates a device view on the desktop; it does not reproduce every condition of a physical mobile device.

You are unsure where Chrome saved the image: Check Chrome’s download behavior and settings. The cited Chrome documentation does not specify a universal filename, format, or save location.
