Before You Cancel: Gather These Details
Taking 30 seconds to confirm how you subscribed prevents most cancellation issues.
- Where you subscribed: Discord website, iOS App Store, or Android Google Play.
- Plan type: Nitro or Nitro Classic.

Steps (iOS 17/16/15-style menus)
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your Apple ID name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find Discord or Discord Nitro in the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.

What Happens After Cancellation
Cancelling Nitro should stop future charges, but it won’t usually remove benefits immediately. You’ll keep access until the end of the current paid period.
Typical post-cancel behavior
- Access duration: continues through your billing period end date.

5) Re-check payment method updates
If your card on file was replaced or updated (new card, expired card, bank reissued card), Apple/Google may have retried billing depending on timing. Confirm you canceled in Apple/Google first, then verify Discord reflects the new end date.
