To cancel Fubo, use the service that bills you: cancel in Fubo’s account settings if Fubo bills you directly, or cancel in Roku’s subscription settings if Roku bills you. Complete the final confirmation, then check the account’s cancellation status and end date.
Find out who bills your Fubo subscription
If you are unsure, sign in at fubo.tv/account and check Account Details. Fubo says an account created through Roku is labeled Roku Subscription. Use Roku’s cancellation steps for that account; otherwise, follow the direct-billing steps below.

Cancel a subscription billed by Fubo
- Sign in to Fubo using the email and password for the subscription, then choose a profile.
- Open the settings icon and select My Account.
- Select Subscription, then choose Cancel at the bottom of the screen.
- If Fubo presents an offer, accepting it keeps the subscription active. To proceed with cancellation, select CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.
- Complete the confirmation and check for the success screen.

Cancel a subscription billed by Roku
Fubo says Roku-billed subscriptions must be managed through the Roku account. You can cancel online or using a Roku device.

On the Roku website
- Sign in at my.roku.com with the Roku account that pays for Fubo.
- Choose Unsubscribe next to the Fubo plan.
- Confirm by selecting Yes, Unsubscribe.
On a Roku device
- Highlight the Fubo subscription channel.
- Press the remote’s Star button and choose Manage subscription.
- Select Cancel subscription and confirm.
- Choose Done.

What happens after you cancel
Paid subscription
For a paid subscription, access ordinarily continues until the end of the current paid billing period, and cancellation stops the next renewal. Fubo says it does not refund prepaid or partial months. Billing may be monthly, quarterly, or annual. If Fubo bills you directly, the next payment date is under Billing > Billing Summary > Next Payment. Free trial
Trial access after cancellation depends on how the subscription was created. Fubo says cancelling a website- or sales-team-created trial ends access immediately; a Roku-billed trial lasts until its scheduled end. Fubo’s Help Center states: “If you cancel your subscription while you are in your free trial period, your trial will expire immediately, and another free trial period will not be given.” Check the cancellation policy for the terms that apply to your trial.
Commitment offers and taking a break
Most plans do not have cancellation fees, but Fubo says an early fee may apply if a promotional offer included a commitment period. Check that offer’s terms. Fubo does not offer a pause or suspension option; its pause and suspension guidance suggests cancelling and reactivating later if you want a break.

Confirm cancellation or investigate another charge
Check the Subscription or Account Information page for the date and time the subscription is set to end. If it is fully cancelled, the account may offer a way to reactivate it. Simply signing in to check the status does not reactivate your subscription; avoid selecting a reactivation control if you want to remain cancelled.
If you can still watch, your paid period may not have ended. After it does, some content may remain available through Fubo Free. Check the expiration date and whether you are watching the free tier, as explained in Fubo’s cancellation policy and continued-access guidance.

If a charge appears after you cancelled, Fubo identifies several possibilities: cancellation was not fully completed, the charge falls within the billing-cycle timing, another subscription exists under a different email, or a third party such as Roku still manages billing. Check the cancellation status and payment date, look for accounts tied to other email addresses, and verify the cancellation with the billing provider. Fubo says prepaid or partial months are not refunded. Its post-cancellation billing guidance and cancellation policy cover these cases.
