Prepare a reliable URL-to-PDF batch
- Make an input list. Put the exact page URL and intended PDF filename in separate columns in a spreadsheet or text file. Use the actual pages to archive, not a homepage or search-results page unless that is what you need.
- Choose stable filenames. Number files or use a short page slug, such as
001-circular.pdf. Keep the source URL-to-filename mapping so that exported files remain identifiable. - Create one capture task per page. Set the operation to
capture-website, supply that page’s URL, choosepdfas the output format, and provide its unique filename. - Export the results. Use
export/urlto retrieve individual output URLs, or request a ZIP archive when you prefer a single download. Handle dynamic pages and page layout
Some pages depend on scripts, browser state, or delayed content. CloudConvert’s HTML-to-PDF API documentation describes URL or HTML input, custom authorization headers, and waiting for a CSS selector. The website-capture documentation also exposes layout and header/footer settings. For a page that loads content asynchronously, select a wait condition only if it reliably signals that the content you need has appeared.

Check access, authorization, and account limits
Confirm each source page is suitable
A government page being publicly visible in a browser does not establish that it is reachable by CloudConvert or permitted for third-party capture. Pages may redirect, rate-limit automated clients, depend on browser state, or render through scripts. The workflow documentation does not verify compatibility for any particular Indian government domain.
Do not submit credentials, personal records, or restricted content to a third-party processing service unless you have authorization and have reviewed the relevant handling requirements. Plan around current limits and terms
As displayed on CloudConvert’s pricing page reviewed October 3, 2026, the free tier lists 10 credits per day, five concurrent tasks, a 1 GB maximum file size, and a five-minute maximum processing time. The page describes free use as personal, testing, and hobby use. These are volatile plan limits, not a guarantee that a particular batch will fit or finish; check the live pricing page for current limits, credit use, costs, and account concurrency before choosing a batch size.
CloudConvert’s terms of service say API use must be an integral component of software that adds significant value and substantial functionality, and disallow a standalone raw conversion service built on the API. If you are building a public-facing product rather than archiving pages for your own workflow, review the current terms first.
