This is a practical method, not a guarantee: some sites replace earlier items, defer images, or render differently for printing. Check the saved PDF from its first page through its middle to its last page before treating it as complete.
Save an infinite-scroll page as a PDF
- Open the page on a desktop browser. Wait for the initial content to finish loading.
- Scroll through the range you need. Move down the page in stages and pause whenever more content is loading. Continue until the last item you want appears.
- Check whether earlier content is still present. Scroll back up through the page. If older entries have disappeared or been replaced as newer ones loaded, the browser may not hold the full page at once.
- Use the browser’s print or save-to-PDF function. The exact menu labels and behavior vary by browser and version; the workflow here does not establish current, browser-specific menu steps.
- Inspect the saved PDF. Check the beginning, a middle section and the end. Confirm the intended first and last items are present and that important images or embedded material are readable.
A print preview that looks complete is not proof that the saved file contains everything. If the PDF omits content, see whether the site offers a direct download or print view, or try a capture tool designed to interact with the live page. Do not assume the PDF is complete until you have checked the file itself.

When printing cannot preserve the whole page
Infinite-scroll pages do not necessarily become a single, complete document just because you have scrolled through them. A site might remove older entries as it loads newer ones, or behave differently when its content is prepared for printing. If the page does not retain the full range at once, a conventional print-to-PDF workflow may leave gaps.

- If you need a static file for reading, sharing or filing, PDF is the appropriate goal—but verify its contents.
- If you need to preserve the browser-loaded page for later interactive replay, use a web archive instead. It is a different kind of file, not a PDF.
Use ArchiveWeb.page for an interactive web archive
Webrecorder’s ArchiveWeb.page is an alternative when replaying the captured page matters more than producing a printable document. Its guide describes Autopilot for interacting with certain complex sites, including pages with infinite scroll. The guide says the system is designed for a single page and is currently aimed at social-media sites or sites with infinite scroll; that is not a promise that it will capture every site successfully. During capture, follow the extension’s status cues and wait while it reports pending URLs. You can replay the resulting archive to inspect it.

ArchiveWeb.page exports WARC and WACZ, formats for web archiving rather than PDF. Webrecorder says locally captured data can be viewed offline and remains local unless shared. Its official page lists version 0.17.1, released September 4, 2026, and says the extension works with Chromium-based browsers including Chrome, Brave and Edge; it also lists a standalone desktop application. Troubleshooting missing content
- The PDF ends too early: Return to the page, scroll farther and wait for new content to finish loading before printing again. Confirm the final expected item is visible first.
- Earlier entries are missing: Check whether the site removes older content as newer entries load. If so, the page may not contain the entire intended range at once for printing; consider a direct download, print view or interactive web archive.
- Images are blank or incomplete: Allow time for deferred images to load while scrolling, then inspect the saved PDF. A page can display text before all images have loaded.
- The page looks right in preview but the file is incomplete: Inspect the saved PDF itself at the beginning, middle and end. Preview appearance alone does not establish completeness.
- You need the page to work offline or remain replayable: Use an interactive web archive such as ArchiveWeb.page and verify the replay. Its WARC or WACZ output is not a PDF.
