Choose where fans will find dates and tickets
Instagram is the route to your tour information, not a substitute for keeping event listings accurate. Use one destination where fans can browse upcoming shows and follow the ticket link for the date they want.

Link directly to an artist events page
Bandsintown for Artists describes its Events Landing Page as a shortened URL unique to an artist’s upcoming events. It can be shared on social media or placed in a profile bio, giving fans a central place to find event details and ticket options. See Bandsintown’s Events Landing Page guide.
Use a tour link in a link hub
If you already direct profile visitors to a link hub, Linktree documents a Tours and Events link that can point to a Seated or Bandsintown artist profile. This is useful when you want the tour destination alongside other links; the destination still needs to lead to the event details and ticket path. See Linktree’s setup instructions.

Prepare the event page before sharing it
- Check each announced show. Make sure its date, city, venue and ticket destination are correct on the artist events page or relevant ticketing page.
- Review the page as a fan. Open it on a phone and confirm that it is clear how to find a show and reach its ticket destination. The listed services provide event-page and ticket-link workflows, but that does not guarantee that any particular listing is complete or that its checkout works correctly.
- Copy the destination URL. Use the artist events-page URL for a direct route, or the artist profile URL you plan to add to your link hub.
Put the tour link on your Instagram profile
Open your Instagram profile and look for the current profile-link settings in the app. Add the events-page URL directly, or use the URL for your link hub if that is where you keep your other destinations. Instagram’s current interface, link limits and account or regional eligibility are not established here, so follow the controls available in your own app rather than assuming a particular label or number of links.
Give the destination a clear name wherever you can label it, such as “Tour dates” or “Tickets.” If you use Linktree, its documented flow is to add a link, enter a title, paste the Seated or Bandsintown artist URL, and configure its display settings. Share a show announcement in a Story
For a specific show announcement, direct fans to the tour link on your profile or use Instagram’s current Story link controls if they are available to you. Bandsintown’s guide describes sharing the events-page URL in a Story and saving that Story to a Highlight so visitors can find the announcement later. Because Instagram’s Story controls can change, check the current options in-app before publishing. Bandsintown’s social promotion guide describes this approach.

Spotify for Artists is a separate discovery surface, not an Instagram ticket feature. Spotify says artist profiles can show events and ticket links supplied by ticketing partners; its page also says Bandsintown can be used to generate listings when a ticket provider is not a partner. See Spotify for Artists Live Events. This can complement Instagram promotion, but it does not replace adding the tour destination to your Instagram profile or announcement.
