You can build a Hindi-song request workflow around a YouTube livestream, but YouTube does not document a built-in connection that turns Live chat requests into a YouTube Music playback queue. The documented third-party example, YouTube Music Streamer, accepts requests through Twitch commands and uses YTMDesktop—not YouTube Live chat. Before choosing a tool, decide whether requests must come from your YouTube audience, and clear the music rights for public broadcast.
Can viewers request Hindi songs in YouTube Live chat?
Not through a documented YouTube Music-to-YouTube Live feature. YouTube Music supports playlists and changing their order, while YouTube Live provides a separate broadcast and chat. The official guidance cited here does not establish a direct route from Live chat messages to YouTube Music playback. A playlist is useful for creator-managed sequencing, but it is not a viewer-controlled request queue.

The specific third-party tool documented here, YouTube Music Streamer, takes requests through a configured Twitch command and asks YTMDesktop to play queued tracks. Its documentation does not show a YouTube Live chat adapter. Do not install it expecting YouTube viewers’ chat messages to control the stream.

What to decide before setting up requests
- Where requests come from: YouTube Live chat or a separate platform such as Twitch. The documented example supports Twitch intake; a compatible YouTube chat implementation is not established here.
- How tracks get played: distinguish a request form or queue from an integration that can actually trigger the music player broadcasting to YouTube.
- Who moderates: choose whether requests need review before playback, and how to reject, remove, or reorder unsuitable tracks. The documented Twitch workflow describes a blacklist and queue controls; equivalent YouTube chat controls are not verified.
- Whether broadcast is authorized: a viewer request does not grant permission to stream a recording. Check rights for each track and coordinate with the relevant label, distributor, or rights owner where necessary.
Set up a YouTube music livestream
1. Confirm the channel can go live
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days to stream. For first-time live streaming, YouTube for Artists advises enabling the feature and verifying the account at least 24 hours before going live. Check the current status and instructions in YouTube Studio, since labels and eligibility can change.

2. Choose a broadcast method
YouTube lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console as ways to go live. An encoder is the relevant category to investigate for a designed music broadcast with computer playback and overlays. The cited YouTube guidance does not require or endorse a particular encoder.
3. Build and order a creator-managed playlist
YouTube Music Help documents adding songs to playlists and editing their order. Use that for your own sequencing, but do not treat it as a public request system: it does not, by itself, connect viewer messages to the active broadcast player. Confirm your intended playback path separately before announcing that requests are open.

4. Choose a request intake that actually matches your audience
If requests must originate in YouTube Live chat, verify that any proposed application explicitly supports reading that chat and sending approved requests to the player that feeds your broadcast. That specific connection is not verified by the cited documentation. If a separate Twitch-based intake is acceptable, the documented YouTube Music Streamer workflow uses a configured Twitch command and YTMDesktop; configure its moderation controls before allowing automatic playback. Do not describe that as a YouTube Live chat integration.

5. Test the full path before launch
Run an unlisted test stream and check the entire chain: request intake, moderation, playback, and the audio reaching the broadcast. YouTube for Artists advises testing a live setup generally. An unlisted test does not establish that music rights are cleared, nor does it prove that a configuration will stay live unattended for 24 hours.

Clear music rights before broadcasting
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. A detected match may trigger a warning, interrupt the broadcast, or lead to termination. YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music. YouTube also warns that even a licensed stream may be interrupted if the rights owner has not allowlisted the channel through Content ID.
A YouTube Music subscription, a playlist, or a viewer’s request should not be treated as a license to rebroadcast a track publicly. Confirm that your permission covers the recording and the intended livestream, and ask the relevant rights owner or representative about Content ID allowlisting where applicable. Rights can differ between recordings of the same Hindi song, so approval for one version does not establish permission for another.

What is not established about a 24/7 Hindi request stream
The available platform guidance does not establish a guaranteed continuous operating duration, maximum stream length, archive behavior after a specified number of hours, or an always-on resilience procedure. It also does not establish that every requested Hindi recording is available in a particular playback setup, that a YouTube Live chat request tool is compatible, or that any requested track is cleared for broadcast. Treat 24/7 operation as a goal to validate with your own setup, not a platform guarantee.
