Prime Gaming codes and in-game rewards are now claimed through Amazon Luna: go to luna.amazon.com/claims, sign in with the Amazon account eligible for the offer, and follow that offer’s own instructions. Not every reward comes as a code—some offers ask you to link a game account or deliver the item in-game after you claim it.
What happened to Prime Gaming?
Amazon retired the Prime Gaming brand in October 2025 and brought Prime gaming benefits under Luna, according to Amazon’s announcement. The familiar term “Prime Gaming code” is still useful when searching for help, but Amazon’s current support directs members to the Luna claims page for downloadable PC games.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon describes Luna as a cloud gaming service, but claiming an offer there does not mean you have to stream the game. The claims page handles downloadable PC game offers as well as offers for in-game content; playing supported Luna cloud games is a separate activity.

- Sign in. Use the Amazon account that is eligible for the offer, such as the account with the qualifying membership.
- Open the claims page. Visit Amazon Luna’s claims page and choose an available offer.
- Read the offer instructions. Amazon notes that instructions differ by offer and availability can vary by country. Check the deadline, eligible region, platform, game version, and any account requirements shown there.
- Complete the delivery step. The offer may provide a code to redeem, ask you to connect a game account, or deliver the reward in the game after a successful claim.
- Finish redemption where instructed. If you receive a code, use the storefront or publisher redemption flow named on that offer. There is no single code-entry page that applies to every promotion.
Amazon’s guide to getting free games and in-game content with a Prime membership gives Riot Games titles such as VALORANT and League of Legends as examples of offers that prompt you to sign in to the game account. It also describes past game delivery through services including GOG, Epic Games Store, Legacy Games, and the Amazon Games app. Treat these as examples, not a promise that a current offer uses any one destination.

How to tell what an offer actually gives you
Before claiming, identify the kind of benefit and where it will go. This quick comparison helps prevent confusion between a game code, an account-linked item, and a Luna game you can stream.
| Offer type | What to expect | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Downloadable PC game | A claimable game offer, which may provide a code or use another delivery step. | Which storefront or account receives it, the redemption deadline, and any platform or version restrictions. |
| In-game reward | A code, an account-linking step, or delivery in the game after claiming. | The required game account, eligible region, and the offer’s exact instructions. |
| Luna cloud game | A game played by streaming through Luna on supported devices; this is not the same as claiming a downloadable PC game. | Whether cloud gaming is available in your country, the supported device, and the controls needed to play. |
Amazon’s Prime gaming benefits support guide and the specific offer page are the appropriate places to confirm a promotion’s delivery method. If the offer does not clearly identify the destination or eligibility, do not assume that a code will work in a particular storefront or on every platform.

Country eligibility and account checks
Offers and Luna features are not globally uniform. Amazon’s Luna page distinguishes countries with cloud games, GameNight, and claimable games from countries where Prime members can claim games only; it also lists Prime Video countries with claimable games. Amazon says the Prime membership must be from the country where the customer currently resides for the listed Luna regions. Check the local Amazon or Luna page and the offer itself rather than relying on an offer shown for another country.
When something is unavailable, first confirm that you are signed into the right Amazon account and that your membership region matches your current residence where required. Then check whether the offer is still open and applies in your country. Even a valid code may have storefront, game-version, or platform limits set by its offer instructions.

Claiming a game is not the same as playing it on Luna
A downloadable PC game claim and Luna cloud gaming are separate benefits. A claim gives you the specific game or item described by the offer, delivered through its stated route. Cloud gaming lets you stream supported titles without treating them as downloadable game codes.
For non-GameNight Luna games, Amazon says you need a controller or a mouse and keyboard. GameNight can use a phone as the controller. The Luna Controller is an optional accessory for playing; it is not needed to claim or redeem a code or in-game reward.

Amazon’s September 21, 2026 Luna explainer says the service includes “more than 60 games” with Prime. That figure describes the Luna library in that article, not the number of downloadable game codes or in-game reward offers, and the library can change.

- Reopen the offer instructions: verify the claim was completed and note whether the benefit is a code, an account link, or an in-game delivery.
- Check the destination account: make sure the game account or storefront account you used is the one named in the offer.
- Check location and eligibility: country availability and membership-region requirements can affect whether an offer can be claimed.
- Use the specified redemption route: a code intended for a particular storefront or publisher flow may not redeem elsewhere.
- Allow for the offer’s stated delivery process: for linked-account rewards, check the game itself and confirm the correct account is connected before claiming again.
If those checks do not resolve the problem, use Amazon’s support guidance or the publisher/storefront named in the offer. The responsible support route depends on where the offer says the game or item is delivered.
