Wahoo’s stated age threshold is 18 to create a Wahoo Account and be eligible to use its products or services. That is an account and service rule—not an explicitly stated minimum age for physically riding a KICKR trainer. Wahoo’s KICKR safety guidance separately says to keep children away while the trainer is in use, so ask Wahoo about a minor’s specific situation rather than assuming either a permitted age or a parent-supervised exception.
What Wahoo says about age
In its support article “Can I create a Wahoo account for my child?”, Wahoo says a person “must be 18 years of age or older to create a Wahoo Account and to be eligible to use any of Wahoo’s products or services.” This establishes an 18+ threshold for account creation and product or service eligibility under Wahoo’s terms.

That wording does not give a separate numeric minimum age for physically riding a KICKR. It also does not explain whether a parent-managed account or direct supervision changes the answer. The available statements do not resolve how the account/service rule applies to a minor using the hardware, so contact Wahoo for guidance on the exact circumstances.
What the KICKR safety guidance says
Wahoo’s indexed KICKR AXIS quick-start guide says: “Keep children and pets away from the KICKR while in use.” Treat that as a safety instruction for a trainer in operation, not as a published rider-age cutoff. The guidance located does not state a child-specific supervision standard.

Check the setup and exact trainer model
Age is not the only practical question when setting up a KICKR. Wahoo’s KICKR requirements describe the need for electrical power and a compatible bicycle. Readings and control also require compatible devices and apps; check Wahoo’s current Wahoo app device compatibility information because software requirements can change.
KICKR is a family of trainers spanning different generations and related models. Before checking fit or compatibility, identify the unit using Wahoo’s KICKR model-identification guide and consult its hardware product directory. These equipment details do not establish different age categories.
