The pricing page currently advertises five-minute crawling on Premium, subject to verification and account eligibility. How often a page is captured is separate from how quickly a multi-page crawl runs, how long Fluxguard waits before capturing, and when alerts arrive.
What crawl schedules does Fluxguard offer?
Fluxguard’s frequency guide lists intervals including every 15 minutes, hourly, daily, and monthly. Its tutorial describes options from every few minutes to weekly and says a crawl can also be started manually. The FAQ says newly monitored pages are crawled daily by default; this is a default, not a universal limit. See Fluxguard’s frequency guide and its FAQ.

The currently indexed Fluxguard pricing page advertises rapid crawling as frequently as every five minutes on Premium. Very fast schedules require site verification, and access may depend on your plan and account settings. Check the current pricing page and your account before relying on a particular interval; plan details can change.
Four different timings that are easy to confuse
Crawl schedule
This is how often Fluxguard starts checking a monitored page or session. A session’s schedule can be configured independently, and you can start a crawl manually. Fluxguard’s FAQ also says you can specify a time range for crawling if you want checks limited to particular hours.

Processing speed
The schedule sets when a run starts; processing speed describes how quickly pages are handled once it starts. Fluxguard says it crawls about one page per minute under ordinary limits, but speed varies. Pages are processed sequentially, and each page’s load time matters. Verified sites may be crawled faster. This vendor-stated rate is not a guarantee that a page will be captured within one minute of a change.
Wait before capture
A capture wait is an additional delay for a page to finish loading or settle after navigation. Fluxguard documents up to nine extra seconds through the session-level “Wait Before Capturing” setting, or a page-level wait action. This setting affects a capture within a run; it does not change the recurring crawl interval. See Fluxguard’s wait-before-capturing tutorial.

Alert delivery
Email timing is separate from capture timing. Fluxguard says daily summaries are the default, with account settings that can change delivery to immediate or weekly notifications. A page can therefore be crawled on one schedule while its report is delivered on another.

- Open the monitored site’s session settings.
- Select the Crawl tab and choose the frequency available to your account.
- Set a crawl time range if you want checks restricted to certain hours, then save the session settings.
- For a one-off check, start a crawl manually from the session. The tutorial describes session-level schedules and manual runs: How to Monitor Website Changes.
- If you need a very fast interval, verify the monitored site by emailing Fluxguard from an address on that site’s domain, as its guidance requires. Confirm the interval is enabled for your plan.
Choose a frequency that fits the page and workload
Faster checks can catch changes sooner, but they also consume more credits and may create more alerts than a team can act on. Fluxguard says it charges one credit per page crawled. Its FAQ gives this example: 10 pages checked hourly use 240 credits per day, or 7,200 credits per month. That is the company’s example, not an independent usage measurement; actual usage depends on the pages and schedule.
Rank #3
- Use frequent checks for important pages where a delayed change notification has a meaningful cost, and where someone can respond to alerts.
- Use less frequent checks for low-priority or rarely changing pages. Fluxguard’s FAQ suggests hourly checks for key pages and weekly checks for older press releases or similar material.
- Estimate page-volume cost by counting the pages crawled and how often each is scheduled. Since the stated basis is one credit per page crawled, increasing either the page count or frequency increases credit use.
- Balance speed against signal: Fluxguard cautions that rapidly crawling many pages can become expensive and produce noisy alerts.
Fluxguard discusses credit usage and crawl speed in its FAQ. Its pricing page’s five-minute Premium claim assumes around ten pages per site, each crawled daily, for its estimate; it says actual credit use may vary.
What the interval can—and cannot—tell you
A scheduled interval is not a precise promise of notification latency. A change may occur just after a crawl, wait until the next scheduled run to be detected, and then be processed as part of a sequential crawl. Page loading and any configured capture wait also affect when the capture occurs; alert delivery has its own cadence. Fluxguard does not publish an independent study or third-party performance statistic for capture cadence in the cited materials, so treat its crawl-rate and credit figures as vendor-published guidance rather than independent benchmarks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does one crawl per minute mean Fluxguard checks my page every minute?
No. Fluxguard’s roughly one-page-per-minute statement describes processing speed under ordinary limits, not the schedule between runs. The configured crawl frequency is a separate setting.
Can I run a Fluxguard crawl manually?
Yes. Fluxguard’s monitoring tutorial describes starting a crawl manually as well as setting a session schedule.
